Big Fenced in Backyard - Has Cat
I have owned and have been around dogs my whole life! My Aunt owns a daycare/boarding company that I spent every summer at when growing up, learning everything there is to know about caring for different types of dogs, young. old, sick, aggressive, ect. I had a dog of my own until he passed away last year at the age of 14. I miss having a dog so badly, but things are a bit too in flux in my life to be ready to fully commit to adopting another dog. So I remember how hard it always was to find a sitter when we would go out of town or have a day where we would be out 12+ hours, and thought this could be a great way to scratch my itch for having a dog and also help people out who need good care for the fur babies! I have looked after pretty much all of my friends dogs on a regular basis here and they all say how happy their dogs were here compared to other places!

Nicole was friendly, capable, and a loving companion for my dog. He home was very welcoming to him. He loved her as much as I did!
This is my first experience with Rover. Some friends had some negative/positive things to say so I was a bit cautious. I saw Nicole profile and review and thought she would be great. Before I made the reservation, I ask to meet Nicole. We met and I was extremely happy. She is sweet, warm, nice etc. Her place was ideal for Coco. I quickly made the reservation and was set. Coco was with her for a week. Nicole sent pictures and updates, which was nice. Everything worked well. Thank you Nicole for taking care of Coco. I felt safe, assured knowing your watching him. Will definitely use you again through Rover.
It was our first time with Nicole and she was AMAZING!!! On our meet and greet, I could tell right away that her compassion for her pets is assured. She has done a great job of caring for our bundle of joy, Coco. She gave our Coco a comfortable space in her home and made sure she was fed according to our schedule and preference. Nicole's quick responses through text kept us informed, which gave us the confidence and peace of mind throughout our vacation. We looking forward to booking again with her in the near future. Nicole is amazing with animals! She’s watched my pup several times over the years, and every time I’m away, she sends plenty of updates and photos, which I always appreciate. She treats my dog like her own—letting her snuggle in bed and making her feel completely at home. I’ve also seen firsthand how thoughtful and meticulous she is with her own pets. She always measured meals, gave supplements on schedule, and made thoughtful adjustments to keep her senior dog as comfortable as possible. She’s a truly incredible caretaker, and there’s no one I trust more with my dog. 10/10 recommend!
I’ve known Nicole for a long time and I’ve also worked in the doggy daycare/boarding business my whole life. If you want a safe, warm, and animal loving home away from home for your furry friend then look no further. Having trust in our animal caregivers is so important and I would trust Nicole with my dogs any day!

Schedule
I work from home all week so I am home with the animals all day and all night on the weekdays! Weekdays are definitely the best days for me to watch fur babies, but can watch weekends too, just check my calendar, I will always keep it very up to date! I want to keep my prices low as to make care not so difficult and bank breaking to find. If you suddenly need to extend your trip and your care, I might not always be able to accommodate, but I will make sure you know my availability before we book, and I will never make new plans if a booking is already set. I can take last min bookings if my schedule allows it, but you have a better chance booking more in advance!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 10 year old cat, she doesn't love dogs, but she mostly keeps to herself on high perches when they are around and stalks around the house at night when were sleeping. If your dog leaves her alone, then they end up peaceful with each other after a few days. Good around cats is required, if your dog likes to chase cats than we are not a good fit. Otherwise I have a big fenced in backyard that the dogs love to run around in and play with toys! Most of the time I just open the back door and let them come in and out of the house as they please! When it comes to talking neighborhood walks, I don't like walking dogs that are under 30lbs, or are too old to run, for fear of being stalked by wild animals like coyotes. I barely ever see them around here (and there is no way for them to get in our backyard), but it only takes once to see one out in the neighborhood to put tiny or older dogs in danger! I would rather run around in the backyard with smaller and elderly dogs.

A typical day
We would start the day in the backyard, going out and spending some time outside in the morning, then breakfast. After that it's their nap time while I start work. Then we go outside again at lunch and throw ball/toys around until they are tired! Then it's back to resting while I finish my workday, then back outside for more fun before dinner! After dinner is couch cuddles until bed!
