***The dogs are currently at my home in Philadelphia; I have no pets in my own home in Pittsburgh*** Growing up in a house with many animals, from dogs to cats to fish to turtles, I have been through every PAWssible situation that a pet could throw at you. From an early age, I trained both of my dogs myself. I am competent with teaching basic commands as well as recall and off leash training. I have extensive experience with the "adolescent phase" for both cats and dogs, including possible attachment or other behavioral issues. I especially worked close with my dog, Sammie, from when she was 5 months up to 5 years old. She had many behavioral issues that came with her age and trouble with acclimating to a foreign home. Through positive reinforcement, she picked up vital commands not just for her development, but also safety in the neighborhood. When she first was brought home, she had a destructive nature that included chasing our cat, pulling out plants, and ripping the couch out of anxiety and boredom. While attending classes online, I additionally made moves to correct her behavior without becoming frustrated. Dog training and being around dogs in general is one of the greatest joys in my life. I am a registered phlebotomist in the state of PA and have extensive hospital experience.

Although I lack a yard, I live very close to Schenley Park and am familiar with some of the more isolated spots in case your dog is reactive. The park is expansive, so I will prioritize hydration with a water bottle and make sure I am picking up on the cues that your dog is sending me. I understand dog body language very well. In terms of housing, I live in an apartment with three rooms and one large room for kitchen and dining. I have brought my 70 lbs dog to the apartment overnight with minimal issues.

Nicole was AMAZING with our pup while we were out of town. She provided necessary walks and went above and beyond when our pup strained his paw. She stayed in our home and left everything as she found it. She stayed in touch with us and gave updates as needed. 10/10 would recommend Nicole for your own fur babies.

Schedule
During the weekends (including Friday) night and day I am available. For the weekdays, the morning to the afternoon is best. Cancellation is flexible, as long as it is within reason (a day before). I enjoy walking pretty much everywhere, so if you have a clingy animal they will be stimulated and loved frequently.
