Plans for the weekend? Have fun while ensuring your pet is also having a good time, because nothing makes me happier than a smiling dog! Or maybe you travel for work during the week and need someone to stay behind, keep an eye on the fur friends, let out the dog for potty breaks keep the kitty litter fresh and your prized pets the attention they deserve. I am available for drop ins and house sitting, so I may take care of other living things🪴that don’t have paws as well. Like watering the plants, or something unique like needing me to start the car every now and then to keep the battery upbeat ready for use when you arrive. Or maybe a last minute night out? I work part time in the day and have the rest of the day to spend with your pup. What a great way to end the day and know no better way than to spend time!

Safety, trust & environment

I am very attentive and observant so your pets will have my undivided attention. As I find them too interesting to turn away. I follow the instructions given to me about your pets feeding of medication methods detailed to ensure their diet remains the same when you get back. As well as the same medicating procedure as dogs love routine. I multitask and use resources to alert me of frequent potty breaks while house sitting (like seniors, puppies or health conditions) I personally cannot bring myself to leave the environment dirty for animals as them sitting in messiness can be a health hazard! I send multiple proofs of me doing the job asked of me (like photos or videos) to give you peace of mind while you are away. Depending on how often you’d like to be notified. Keep in mind I answer as soon as possible but can be busy actually caring for your pup before I’ll actually have time to snap a photo of us having a swell time. Sometimes both hands are needed for animals, especially larger ones! I have your dog’s best interest at heart and their safety is my first priority!

Information Nicole G. would like to know about your pet

Important details and thorough instructions during the meet and greet is crucial for me to fulfilling your pets needs. I should know of health conditions, pet insurance, rabies vaccination record, etc. I will take your pet to their vet in a emergency situation, but I am not responsible for any vet bills as they should only be covered by the owner. I won’t do extra extreme things that were not discussed beforehand, like taking them to the groomer or asking me to trim their nails myself. Or once again taking them to the vet for a regular check up last minute. These things need to be discussed prior and agreed by myself. I offer house sitting, drop ins and dog walking but I am not a vet or a groomer. If your pet gets dirty while in my care I like to offer a complimentary bath. Or if agreed beforehand or communicated with me in certain situations (Please inform me on any aggression your pet may have against baths 🛁). But please do not try to take advantage and try asking for more and more things that are not my specialty. I’d love to book with you again!

A typical day

I adapt not only to your pets feeding schedule and needs but as well as their personality and make it my business to get to know him or her <3. What entertains them, what they like, what they do not like, what makes them happiest. I have just as much fun playing fetch as they do and seek for their hugs and cuddles all day long. I make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible and gets excited to see me again! I am looking forward to hanging out and borrowing your fur friend as they are my favorite kind of company.

Pet care experience

I have worked at dog daycare for a long while and there we were taught professionally how to give medications. I learned behaviors that help me today in understanding your fur babies needs and wants! I have experienced new ways of learning with any dog of any size and personality.
