In fact, my first word was “dog”! I grew up in a household where caring for pets was part of everyday life. From a young age I was responsible for walking our dogs, feeding them, making sure they always had fresh water, and handling the less glamorous tasks like cleaning up after them. That early experience built habits of responsibility and attentiveness that I still carry into caring for animals today. I currently have two dogs and two pet rats, so I’m very comfortable with animals of different sizes, personalities, and care needs. Living with different types of pets has taught me how important routine, patience, and understanding are when it comes to keeping animals happy and comfortable. Every animal has their own personality and boundaries, and I always take the time to make sure they feel safe and respected. I’m comfortable adapting to different temperaments, whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and slow to warm up. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits that can include feeding, fresh water refills, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention while you’re away. I’m also happy to help with basic tasks like cleaning up after pets or refreshing litter/bedding for small animals. I do my best to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I work full-time during the day, but I’m available for morning visits, evening walks, and weekends, and because I live nearby I’m able to provide reliable and consistent visits. I’m naturally detail-oriented and dependable, and I always make sure pets’ routines, feeding schedules, and care instructions are followed carefully. I know how important it is to feel connected to your pet while you’re away, so I’m always happy to send photo updates and quick check-ins after visits. Animals are truly one of the great joys in my life. I will treat your pet with the same care, patience, and affection that I give my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for until their favorite person comes home.

Nicole did a wonderful job caring for my pets! Both of my dogs can be skittish around new people, but they took quickly to her and were comfortable with her in their space. She did an amazing job at communicating with me and sent lots of pictures so I knew how they were doing. I would definitely book with Nicole again!

Nicole has never met an animal she didn't love from the get-go. Personally I need to get to know the animal a bit first before I can admit that feeling. That is not the case for Nicole. When she says hi to a dog out in the world it's a full-on meet-and-greet, not just a superficial pet and hello, lasting minutes, not seconds. She is incredibly caring and sweet and I can guarantee she will go above and beyond whatever you request you ask of her because she can't help herself. She will take care of that animal like it's her own. Don't hesitate to hire her!

Schedule
I currently work a flexible 9-5. I can reliably do walks in the mornings and evenings and potentially at lunch if it is nearby. I am free to spend the full weekend with your pups too!
