I have a fenced yard and currently no pets so they would be the sole animal in the house. I have baby gates on the bottom and top stairs (along with stair treds for senior dogs/dogs with lots of hair) if your pup isn't skilled on the stairs - but they are welcome both up and down stairs.

If your dog is not comfortable/safe/friendly with kids then I am not the sitter for you as I have very young children. If they get into small toys please let me know ahead of time so I can keep them away from my kids play areas. Is your dog reactive around other dogs (on walks)? anything they are afraid of?

We are a family of 4 (myself, my husband, 5 year old and 2.5 year old) who miss having a dog in the house. We recently lost our beloved fur baby and before we dive back into adopting another dog - we are opening our home to watch your pup! I work from home full time and my husband a few days a week so someone is always home. I still have a large crate set up in the house if you'd feel more comfortable with your dog being crated if ever being left alone. We have a fenced backyard, great neighborhood for walks and lots of room for your dog to nap, run and play, etc My profile headline "neurotic dog mom" - I was an extremely neurotic dog mom to my pup - what made me feel comfortable was lots of pictures/updates - so I'd do that for you too!

Nicole was a great dogsitter. She took good care of my Mia. She provided updates and photos every few hours. She also was very available and responsive to me. I would recommend her to anyone, and will definitely be using her again.
Nicole was our favorite dog sitter here in DC and Olive (8 month old Golden) is so sad to see her move to San Diego. She cared for my puppy/house sat for me many times and she is the absolute best! Extremely personal and professional, and a total plus that she grew up with Golden Retrievers herself! She always left the home spotless and Olive was always completely worn out by the end of the weekend. I also used her as backup when my dog walking company was off and she was always available and on time. She is the best and we miss her!
