Growing up, I wanted to be a vet so badly. My empathic heart couldn’t carry through with that profession so now I just love spending my time with animals as much as possible. I have a PhD in human psychology and I like to think that that applies to my ability to understand animals as well. When I am taking care of your pet I want them to experience the least amount of change as possible so I am willing to keep their usual routine as unchanged as possible. I have experience with special needs animals and am comfortable wrangling a puller on a walk. I’m confident reengaging a reactive dog during walks or content dogs who need encouragement to finish their walk. I’m really excited to spend time with your fur baby!

My apartment is puppy proofed and I have a medium dog size crate if you need. I am happy to take in any safety items you also prefer to drop off. For your home, I am flexible and absolutely responsive to any needs you have for safety and your home.

Nicole took excellent care of our pup and cat, during a recent trip. She was incredibly reliable, providing regular updates throughout her visits, and went above and beyond by keeping our dog clean and dry despite some very muddy weather. When we returned, our otherwise-anxious pup was happy and relaxed, which speaks volumes about Nicole’s care and attention. She also communicated clearly about logistics throughout her time in our home. Overall, we were extremely pleased with her work. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to Nicole again in the future.
