I have a really flexible life working as a property manager in Downeast Maine so I can mold my days around your pet's schedule. I have a 3 day minimum for watching pets in your home within the mileage radius shown on my profile. I'm also happy to offer drop in visits and dog walking in the towns of Gouldsboro, Steuben, and Milbridge; owners will need to send a 'housesitting' inquiry to start a conversation. (This is to avoid getting booked for dog walking further from home.)

A typical day
Depending on the dog, I'd offer play time with a ball or favorite toy outside in the yard, walks in the woods, a swim in shallow water, or a vigorous hike at a nearby mountain. I like to frequently walk in the preserved areas around Downeast Maine where I also volunteer for trail building and maintenance on occasion.

Pet care experience
I have no dogs of my own but recently welcomed a new shelter kitty into my home. I love having the opportunity to care for the dogs and cats belonging to friends over the years. Needs always vary but may include daily walks, regular feeding, or caring for them in their own home. I have volunteer experience at animal shelters providing cat and dog care, and I have 30 years of personal pet care experience with 3 awesome kitties, all rescues, plus long term sits for some special kitties in need of temporary housing.

Nicole is a very dependable house/dog sitter. She has excellent communication skills and keeps us informed while we are away. She sends photos and videos as well as texts. Nicole is not hesitant to ask questions to make her stay with Stanley more effective and enjoyable for him. Nicole administered medications without issue and closely watched Stanley as he had just begun a new medication. The house is always left tidy and we are confident that Stanley is in good hands.
Communication with Nicole is so good. She is timely and thorough in her responses. Nicole is dependable and conscientious following dog instructions closely and sending reassuring photos! When we get home the house is always clean and tidy with a happy dog to greet us. We absolutely love Nicole and highly recommend her.
Nicole was punctual and dependable for the meet/greet. She is an excellent communicator and responded to messages before and during the service dates in a timely manner. The house was left clean and tidy; linens and towels were washed which was an unexpected gift! She and Stanley got along well and he appreciated the daily walks! We did, too, as well as the photos that Nicole sent. We were very pleased with her stay as Stanley’s sitter and highly recommend her!
