I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can stay with your pet throughout the day without needing to leave for work or school. From the moment we wake up, I will give your pup plenty of cuddles and head rubs, making sure they know how good of a girl/boy they are. During the day, we can go for a walk, play in the yard, or go to a local park to play or swim (I will always check with you first to see how your dog behaves off-leash and with other dogs). Your pets will get frequent bathroom breaks by letting them out in the backyard or taking them on a walk--whichever you prefer! They will be cared for and loved, and I'll be talking to them, playing with them, and giving them pets/snuggles/cuddles throughout the entirety of our day.

As the mom of two dogs, I know how important your pets are to you, and I will take every precaution to provide your dogs with the safest environment possible. I will ask about your pets' preferences, activity levels, allergies, quirks, and limitations so I can better understand your pet and keep them safe while you are away. I will follow the instructions that you leave for me, asking clarifying questions as needed. I follow feeding and supplement instructions closely, and I will always reach out if there are any questions. For safety and peace of mind, my dogs will not come with me on any house stays or dog walking visits. I will check that your dog is up to date on all shots, vaccinations, and flea medication to ensure the health/safety of all other dogs.

I would like to know your pet's preferences, how they like to play, if they get aggressive (and if so, in what circumstances do they get aggressive), allergies, quirks, feeding schedule, limitations, and any other details that will help me give them the best possible care, keep them feeling engaged, and make sure they are loved and safe.
A typical day
I love to keep dogs stimulated both physically and mentally--my approach will depend on the dog! For more active dogs, I'm able to take them on walks, hikes, or to swim. If you prefer we stay at the home, I can stimulate them through toys or throwing a ball. I will defer to you on what you feel most comfortable with. I get very silly with the dogs, singing them songs and talking to them as a way to engage with them.

My name is Nicole and I would love to watch your best friend! Every animal deserves a loving home, and it's our job to ensure they're loved, safe, and well taken care of. As an experienced sitter with two dogs of my own, I am here to provide the most loving and safe dog-sitting experience for your pet while you are traveling or out of town. My goal is to keep your dog stimulated and happy and to give you peace of mind so you can fully relax knowing that your pooch is in great hands. I'm comfortable with both big and small dogs, including high energy dogs that require a lot of exercise. I am able to provide updates and share pictures throughout the day so you know what your pet is up to. I know how great it is to receive regular photos and updates from dog sitters, and I want to provide you with that experience too! Dogs have always been close to my heart. Growing up, dogs were a special part of our family, and I helped take care of a Lab/German Sheppard/husky mix and a yellow lab. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me for dog sitting for the past 20 years. In my twenties, I ran a small scale dog walking business with a previous partner, where we took care of 3-5 dogs during the week. I currently have two dogs, a golden retriever named Ralph and a pitbull mix named Drogon (neither of them will accompany me on dog sitting excursions, as I know this can overwhelm new dogs). I have experience taking a group of dogs on walks, to the park, swimming, and on hikes with me. Before we do any of these activities, I will check in with you about your pet's behavior and what you're comfortable with. Yet again, Nicole has been a fantastic dog sitter! Omar is an anxious dog with a rough history, but Nicole does a great job with him and Jet, too.
Attentive, caring, and detail-oriented! Nicole did a fantastic job with Omar and Jet. We got pertinent updates and pics. They were not at all frantic when we returned -- as they sometimes are. So she obviously made them feel secure and cared for. Plus, she left the house neater than she found it!
Nicole was great with our pups and we are so thankful! Nicole stayed with our dogs while we were camping and had limited service and it was helpful to know they were with someone caring and thoughtful, with great communication and pics! We came back to happy dogs and a clean home :) thanks Nicole!!!
