I’m a 23-year-old registered pediatric nurse with a lifelong love for animals! Becoming a veterinarian was actually my second career choice because of how much I’ve always enjoyed caring for animals. I grew up with dogs and have experience with a variety of breeds and sizes. My family had Boxers and Pit Bulls throughout my childhood, and we also rescued several different breeds as I got older. I’ve cared for my own childhood dogs, as well as family and friends’ dogs, since I was a teenager. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. We recently lost our beloved 15-year-old Shih Tzu-Bichon mix, who was a very special part of our family. Caring for him throughout his senior years taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, gentle care, and understanding that older dogs may have different routines and needs. My husband and I currently have a one-year-old Pit Bull whom we rescued from the SPCA when he was just two months old. Caring for him has given me even more experience with puppies, high energy dogs, training, patience, and understanding each dog’s individual personality and needs. As a pediatric nurse, I’m naturally patient, attentive, responsible, and comfortable following detailed care instructions. I understand how important it is to treat every pet as an individual and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, an energetic adult, or a senior who needs a little extra patience and care, I would love the opportunity to treat them like family while you’re away.

My priority is making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ll keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible, follow their care instructions, and make sure they receive plenty of attention. For stays in my home, I’ll also make sure your pet and my dog are a good fit and are introduced safely.

Schedule
I work three days a week, including every Saturday and Sunday, with my third workday varying. My schedule gives me plenty of time on my days off to dedicate to caring for pets. I’ll consistently update my Rover calendar so my availability is accurate. I am married so my household consists of my husband and I and our 1 year old pit bull. However, I will be handling all of the care involving your pet when you book with me !
