What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my 32 years of experience, beginning in my teenage years when I cared for neighbors’ dogs. As a dog owner myself, I hold myself to high standards and treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. Due to working in a school full time, I have the most availability in the summer and winter breaks. In addition, I am available evenings for drop ins and weekends for house sitting. At the present time, I am not offering boarding- but this is subject to change. My three year old golden retriever lives with me and is always eager to make new friends, ensuring a fun and social environment for your dog. Based in NEPA, I focus on providing personalized, loving care for each dog I look after. I look forward to hearing from you! If you choose house sitting, please note that I do need to bring my well behaved quiet golden retriever. I do have a travel dog crate I can bring to keep her confined for your peace of mind.

I prioritize a consistent schedule and routine for both my pets and client pets, which includes regular feeding, playtime, relaxation, and walks. Safety is my top priority, and I ensure that your pet is well cared for in a secure environment. In my home or yours, I have crates, multiple rooms, and gates available to provide space for pets to relax if they need some time alone or if they become too rambunctious. Rest assured, your pet will be safe, comfortable, and well attended to while in my care. I cultivate a more homey environment for my pets and dogs I watch, which sets me apart from kennel life.

Schedule
As someone who loves pets and takes great pride in caring for my own, pet care is always a top priority in my daily routine. When it comes to your pet, it becomes my first obligation as well. I follow a strict feeding schedule for my one dog—once at 7 a.m. and again at 5 p.m; meanwhile, my other dog is a graze eater and has food in her dish 24/7. We also dedicate at least an hour to play, whether it’s fetching a ball, relaxing while watching TV, or playing with stuffed animals, sometimes more often than not a lot more than an hour. Rest assured, your pet will receive all the care and love they deserve!
