It is important to me to keep as many elements of a pet’s usual routine implemented as possible. I am very detail-oriented and want to work together to provide the most enjoyable and least stressful visits for your pet. Whether that is following the same nighttime routine or walking the same routes, I want to learn what I can do to help them adjust smoothly.

I would be glad to be informed of any behavioral quirks ahead of time- any issues with other dogs, children, wildlife, road noise, etc can all be accounted for as long as I am briefed on their history and personality.
A typical day
Depending on the breed, exercise ability, and stimulation needs of the dog, I have a variety of activities to occupy time. Where some dogs may enjoy an active and exciting training exercise, others may prefer a walk completely dedicated to sniffing.

Pet care experience
I have experience with a variety of animals of different ages, breeds, and care needs. I am passionate about good communication and reinforcing healthy behaviors, and have completed an internship with a professional dog trainer for my own dogs. It was essential for me to learn how to teach and apply practices that allow my animals to be secure and fulfilled. I am well versed in puppy care as well as temperamental kitties, and can administer medicine to elderly pets. As a former collegiate track athlete and now grad student, I love to be active and spend time with animals to unwind.
