I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, and animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up, my mum was a pet sitter, so I was always surrounded by pets and learned from an early age how important it is to give animals patient and attentive care. I now live on a small farm in Newbury and love spending time outdoors with animals. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats, helping pets stay comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I always take the time to make them feel relaxed and happy. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime or simply keeping them company, I make sure they receive plenty of attention and care. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so pets feel comfortable and relaxed. During drop-in visits I can feed pets, refresh water, clean litter trays if needed, provide playtime and make sure they get plenty of attention and companionship. For dog walks, I prioritise safe and enjoyable walks, keeping dogs securely on their lead unless instructed otherwise and avoiding busy or unsafe areas where possible. I always make sure dogs are returned home safely, with fresh water and settled before I leave. I treat every home with respect and care, keeping things tidy and making sure doors, gates and locks are secure. I also send updates and photos so owners can feel reassured that their pets are happy and well looked after.

Our dog had a lovely 2 weeks with Nicole, her partner and resident dog Tucker. We knew immediately at the settling-in session that we had made the right choice. She is very personable in her approach and kept us updated with regular photos and videos throughout his stay. This was our first time using a dog boarder (and Rover), hence was nervous, particularly as our dog still has some separation anxiety. Nicole far exceeded our expectations and adapted to his needs during his stay. We would certainly use Nicole again in the future.
Hello Nicole, Thank you so much for taking care of Poppy and Leo earlier today. We met you and your partner for the first time in person and immediately felt convinced that the dogs were in safe hands. Even the dogs were so excited to meet you. They appear to have had a great time, as they had their meal at home and were fast asleep soon after. Thank you for your flexibility with the time. We were running late since morning which had a cascade effect for later too. Your flexibility helped us to do justice with our family meet. Your offer to run over to the market to get dog food for them was so considerate. Because Poppy’s car sickness problem, we had to kindly decline it. But the gesture was much appreciated. Nicole and Danny (and Tucker) looked after our little Frenchie. They were fantastic, they understood I was an anxious pup mum and I had lots of contact and photos. They understood the interesting ways of a Frenchie and were happy to accommodate all my questions and queries. Would highly recommend and use again. They both clearly love and understand dogs (and their anxious owners!)
Tilly seemed to feel at home right away with Nicole and family, including the lovely Tucker. Nicole sent some reassuring photos and videos over the course of the weekend. Thank you!

Schedule
Pet care is my full-time work, so my daily routine is built around dog walks and pet visits. This allows me to be flexible and make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, exercise and care. I plan my schedule carefully so every visit or walk is relaxed and unhurried.
