Pet care experience
LVT by day, animal lover 24/7!
I've been caring for pets at home for 20+ years. I'm a cat and a dog mom, though I also have experience working with birds and reptiles at work as well. I'm a Licensed Veterinary Technician, the veterinary equivalent of a nurse. I started my career in veterinary medicine in 2020 and became licensed in 2022. I worked in animal emergency medicine for three years and have worked in day practice since I left emergency in 2023. I have a lot of experience medicating animals and would be happy to assist with this when needed. Caring for animals is not only my hobby, but also my career. I love all animal kiddos of the furry, feathery, and scaly variety 💓 I plan to offer house sitting again in the future, however, my oldest dog was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma/chondrosarcoma, so I'd like to be at home for him as much as possible for the foreseeable future. Thank you for understanding.

Safety, trust & environment
I believe leashing pets is very important, as well as following pet parent instructions carefully. And of course, I will use my knowledge as an LVT to provide the most safe and thorough service possible.
Ratings and reviews
Nicole is my cat's new best friend. 😻 We went on an extended holiday and I was anxious about leaving our cat for so long, but I quickly felt at ease with Nicole watching him. She took such great care of him and he absolutely loved her! I will feel much better planning any future trips if Nicole will be available to spend time with Bodie while we are gone.

Nicole was fabulous! I cannot speak highly enough of the care she gave our three cats while we were away and how well she communicated with us to let us know how our girls were doing! The pictures she sent made it abundantly clear that our cats were being well taken care of and also being well loved! She will be my go to pet sitter for sure!

Actively engages with our dog and appreciates her love and friendship.

Nicki is very professional and friendly. It was very nice going on vacation and not worrying about my pets. She kept in close contact with me with daily texts and pictures. My Golden Retriever puppy and cat loves Nicki. I would highly recommend her.
I would trust any of my beloved pets to Nicole’s care. She is kind, dependable, and trustworthy. She will listen to what you want and also use common sense. She is responsible with care and loving to any and all animals.

Schedule
I work 10-12 hour days at work, but when needed I am usually able to leave my job over lunch to take care of pets (mine or someone else's).
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsNicole can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- I like to know of any special needs ahead of time, be it medication administration, walking limits, avoiding stairs, etc. I've worked with special needs pets before, especially in emergency medicine. Also if your pet is in any way reactive, I'd like to know that as well.
