About Nicole A.

Safety, trust & environment
I enjoy working with clients who value positive reinforcement. I'm open to special requests and meeting the needs of all pets and their owners. I have some experience in training exercises, providing mental stimulation for different animals, incorporating behavior modifications, and avoiding or reducing triggers to prevent unnecessary stress and anxiety for both pet and parent. Fears or triggers are important for me to know, as is what motivates your pet the most (food, play, affection, verbal praise); this helps me build a trusting relationship with your pet.
Information Nicole A. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any physical disabilities, medical conditions, and/or behavior concerns (e.g., recent major surgeries, diabetes, seizures, excessive scratching, possessiveness, aggression, constricted airways). It is also imperative that all known triggers (dislikes/fears) are communicated clearly.
A typical day
I am an active mom who rarely sits still, unless warranted. My purpose is to enrich the lives of our pets, young and old. Playing games, cuddling, giving scritches, and behavior training are all considered part of my care.

Pet care experience
I have experience with dogs, cats, snakes, hamsters, birds, and rabbits. I have worked with dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters through all stages of life, with and without special needs. I currently own two birds. I also have experience caring for saltwater, brackish, and freshwater fish. My special interests and skills involve animal behavior, and the knowledge of incorporating behavior modification makes me a unique caretaker. I value providing a high quality of life for all living beings, especially our pets, whom we consider family.
Reviews

Nicole is fantastic with our guy! She taught him in a short amount of time and he is so much better because of her!

Nicole has been very helpful with Cooper and helping us to train him on the leash. She is knowledgeable and patient and you can see her love of animals.

Nicole did an excellent job taking care of my dog. She is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and psychology. She did a great job handling my large 95IBS pitbull. She and her husband treated my dog like their own with lots of love and cuddles. He had lots of playtime and walks. I was sent pictures and videos throughout his stay with them. I'm very greatful she took my dog in, even though he is suffering from some kind of skinn condition. She offered to do a medicated bath on my dog and thoroughly followed medication and topical skin treatment instructions. She also noticed some behavioral personalities I didn't know my dog exhibited. Overall I will highly recommend her as a dog sitter to friends and family. I am very satisfied with her services. 5 stars !
Nicole is a wonderful person. She is caring, considerate, intelligent, detail-oriented, approachable, respectful and professional. Nicole is exceptionally astute with people and pets, she indulges in learning to enhance her competency in whatever area she is utilizing at that time. I trust my children with Nicole and I most certainly trust my pets with her. Finding someone so authentic is refreshing and comforting. I have seen Nicole with Luke (her pet) first-hand; she is attentive to his needs as well as the needs of the people around Luke. Her communication skills are superb which gives credibility above others, in my opinion. I highly recommend Nicole and could never have enough space in a box to rave on her.
