I work full time but depending on days and requirements, I may be able to add work from home flexibility into the arrangement. Normally I am away from the home for around 8 hours when work from home is not an option. Happy to discuss all of this before any confirmations! I would be around fully on weekends :) I ensure my own dog and any pets I sit for have a adequate play and exercise (I have a very active lab that I take for a minimum 2 walks per day)

I have a fully fenced, very large yard that’s great for playtime and to burn some energy! I also have an unfinished basement that’s our designated play area when the weather isn’t cooperating. I have a 1.5 year old fixed female chocolate lab who loves to play and be there to keep your fur baby company. I am happy to crate your dog as needed and make them feel right at home. This is a kid free home, so the fur babies get ALL the attention. I love providing updates as well to make sure you know exactly how your fur baby is doing while you’re away.

Please let me know if your dog has any specific behaviour or medical issues, I am happy to accommodate. A meet and greet with my resident dog is mandatory before accepting a client, so please advise if your dog is friendly and would appreciate another dog in the home.
A typical day
I will make sure to keep them mentally and physically exercised. I have volunteered many years as a foster with various rescue organizations and have taken training on dog behaviour and LOVE the challenge of puzzles, games and new tricks to keep your pup entertained! I frequent the fully fenced dog park near my home and will spend the time needed making your dog feel comfortable exploring the neighbourhood around my home.

I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, growing up with dogs, cats, horses and cattle. I am an active individual, so I'll make sure to get out & explore with your dog as much as possible. This includes daily walks and trips to the dog park, if appropriate. I have worked with large breeds (previously owned a 90 lb Coonhound) as well as special attention animals (my lab previously had spinal issues) so I'm comfortable and caring for all breeds, sizes and special circumstances. I am also available via text/call to keep you updated about your pet and would love to provide updates as required! I'm a responsible adult and will ensure to respect you, your pet and home with the utmost care.

Nicole looked after our two dogs and two cats while we were away for several days. Nicole was awesome! She was punctual, professional, very easy to work with our reactive pup, Basil, and accommodated our changing schedules. She even arranged a meet and greet prior so she could get a feel for Basil's behaviour on walks. We'd happily book Nicole again.
