When caring for your pet, I prioritize both fun and enriching activities that keep them happy, engaged, and active. Depending on your pet’s preferences, I’ll tailor our activities to suit their energy level and personality. For active dogs, I love taking them on daily walks to explore the neighborhood or nearby parks. Whether it's a casual stroll or a more energetic hike, I ensure they get plenty of exercise. I also enjoy playing games like fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek to keep their minds sharp and bodies active. For more laid-back pups, I offer cozy time, gentle play, and lots of attention. I can also provide mental stimulation through puzzle toys, training sessions, or scent games to keep them engaged without overexerting them. If your dog enjoys socializing, I can arrange dog park visits or playdates with other friendly dogs (with your permission). I'm always mindful of your pet’s specific preferences, whether that’s giving them space or providing extra attention during our activities. Overall, my goal is to provide a balanced mix of physical activity, mental stimulation, and lots of love, ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and content while in my care.

I've had a lifelong passion for dogs and have been fortunate to grow up surrounded by them. I grew up with a Boxer, a Pug, and a French Bulldog, so I’m well-versed in the unique needs and personalities of different breeds. Currently, I share my life with a playful Toy Australian Shepherd that I raise with my girlfriend, and I love the bond we share. Caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and I understand the importance of patience, care, and attention to detail when it comes to keeping them happy and healthy. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just cuddling, I believe dogs are family, and I treat every dog I care for with the same love and respect I give my own pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I’m experienced in understanding their body language and behavior. In addition to my personal experience, I also bring a responsible and trustworthy attitude. I’m reliable, punctual, and ready to cater to any specific needs your dog might have, whether it’s administering medication, maintaining a consistent routine, or just ensuring they’re safe and happy while you're away.

I couldn't be more grateful for Nico's exceptional care of my 3-year-old Yorkie, Pluto, while I was away for a long weekend. Nico went above and beyond, ensuring that Pluto was not only well taken care of but also kept happy and healthy. He was fantastic at administering a variety of multivitamins and tea pills, which is no easy task with a finicky pup! Nico also made sure Pluto had plenty of playtime, keeping her engaged and loved. I could tell she was spoiled with attention, and the cod treats Nico provided were clearly a hit—Pluto absolutely adored them! When I came back, Pluto was in great spirits, happy and healthy, which reassured me that she had been in the best hands. Highly recommend Nico for any pet sitting needs!
Nico has been around dogs all his life first as a baby and a toddler with the boxer, then with a the Pug and lastly the frenchie as a college student. He currently shares an Australian shepard with his girlfriend. He is responsible,sweet, loving and patient and has experience raising his Australian sheppard since a few weeks old. I would Highly recommend Nico as a responsible, loving and gentle pet sitter that has first hand experience with a variety of breeds.
