Reviews on our THS profile routinely talk about how owners come home to happy and relaxed pets, and a very clean home (sometimes even cleaner than when they left!). We know the level of trust it takes to let a stranger into your home, and we are extremely respectful of that.
Information Nicola & Tom B. would like to know about your pet
We feel best when we get a full rundown on how your pet behaves around new people and other animals. For dogs, we'd love to know what they're like with other dogs, how they walk, whether they go off-leash and what their recall is like if they do. And what their idea of the best day ever is. For cats, we'll ask how they respond to new friends, and how to woo them over if they're a little shy. If there are any rules (no cats on the bench, no dogs on the couch), we'll make sure we're across these for home visits too.
A typical day
We love going on hikes and can offer full days out for dogs who feel the same way. If your pet prefers to take things slow, we can come over and hang out with them with a book or a movie too. If there's something else you know they'd love, let us know!

Pet care experience
We've been looking after pets – both our own and our family and friends' – for as long as we can remember. We're both from Australia, but since May this year, we've been pet sitting our way around Canada while on working holiday visas. We've looked after energetic shepherds, packs of pooches, cats on medication, young pups and senior felines. With every pet, we learn (and love!) a little more.

I can highly recommend Nikki as a very competent dog walker as she and her partner, Tom, cared for our 4 dogs for a few weeks this past summer, whilst we were on holidays. Nikki has great energy which was exactly what our active dogs needed and she spoiled them daily with good long walks. Our dogs absolutely loved their time with Nikki and Tom and they were super excited to see them a couple of months later when we had a chance to meet up with them while camping in Algonquin. We and our dogs can only hope they will come back and stay with us again, should they make it back to Ontario.
