Highlights
Pet care experience
Experienced Kendal cat sitter
I am a very experienced cat sitter, providing a drop in care for cats in Kendal. I understand that cats are territorial and being in their home environment, in their routine is best. I feed and care for your cat(s), providing enrichment. My service is more than just a meal - just because cats are independent, most do need company and reassurance when you are away. I follow your routine and send photos, videos and updates so you can see your pet in their home setting and assess for yourself their comfort in my care. Use my code for special discounted rate https://www.rover.com/sit/nicolt46073 I regularly care for cats for a number of local households when they have a holiday or weekend away, providing reassurance to both owner and pet (this includes house cats). This also removes stress of a car trip to catteries for your pet. I am DBS checked and happy to water plants when you are away. Choosing me to care for your cat is the purr-fect solution.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I provide a drop in service for your pet in their home because that is the place they feel safe. I follow your instructions to ensure continuity and provide a photo/video and short message with each visit because you know your pet the best and can pick up on any change in their behaviour. I have an Enhanced check on the DBS update service to give peace of mind when trusting your pet and home to someone. I provide photos/videos so that you can assess your pet's wellness.
Ratings and reviews
Thanks again Nicola for taking good care of Luna and Alfie while we were away. Love to see the videos and pictures as always ☺️
Everything went extremely smoothly and well. Nicola came to meet us and find out Teddy's routines. She came across as very friendly, trustworthy and professional and it didn't take long for Teddy to be comfortable with Nicola. Then the visits all went really well with very good communication with myself. Will definitely call on her again if she's available when I next go away.
Nicola was fantastic. Took great care of our two cats. We appreciated her daily updates and photos. Very happy with the service she provides
Nicola came to meet Ben in advance and learn his quirks. She’s very communicative and asks great questions. I needed someone to feed and also give Ben some attention and Nicola has been great, even playing with him while she’s here. Ben’s quite unsure of new people sometimes but is warming up :).
Nicola was very professional and caring. My two bunnies were well looked after for the week while I was away. Nicola gave lovely updates, photos and videos. She was very responsive if I had questions. 100% would use again and would highly recommend. Thank you
Nicola made sure my sweet cat was happy and well cared for, making a much needed holiday all the more restful. Frequent updates and photos of her having a lovely time made it all the more special!
