I am attentive and listen to the pets needs and make sure to follow in line with the clients routine. I think it’s important to connect with the pet to make sure they feel safe and can trust me, knowing that I can provide their care while the owner is away. I make sure they get fed on schedule, have water, stay with them to relax, take time to play (the extent depending on weather conditions and the amount we can be outside), and lots of walks. I enjoy being outside and want the dog to get their much needed exercise and mental stimulation.

I’ve always owned a dog and have had the pleasure of learning how to attend to anxious and attached dogs as well since our newest pup. I have watched a variety of dogs for friends and family members. This means that I’m comfortable with and conscious of different needs of different breeds.

Nicola was an absolutely wonderful sitter for my two senior dogs, one of whom requires daily medication and extra attention. She sent daily photo updates and check-ins, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I came home to two relaxed, happy pups — it was clear they’d been in good hands.
