Hello, I'm Nicola, thank you in advance for viewing my profile. I am a boxer mum at heart and my beautiful dog Sid sadly got put to sleep in September 2022 and since then I have dedicated my free time to an animal charity and was a part-time Foster Carer for rescue dogs for a number of years. The plus side of this experience was the exposure to alot of breeds and the best part was I occasionally looked after puppies on a short term basis who are waiting for there forever home. I routinely dogsit for friends and family and enjoy all pets large and small so I thought it made sense to go ahead and set up a profile! I would be honoured to look after your furbabies and they would be taken care of very well as all pets are treated as family members. You will see from my photos I have a wide range of experience with different breeds and love them all.

Nicola looked after our two dachshunds for a weekend and we are so happy with how it went. Spud and Tato had a great time and seemed to feel right at home. Nicola sent regular updates and took care to walk them very early in the morning as it was the middle of the heatwave.
I was regularly kept updated with lovely photos and messages, which meant so much and let me see how happy and settled they were. It’s clear they were well looked after and given lots of love and attention. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Nicola again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pets. Thank you again! 🐶❤️
Nicola was great at looking after our little terror of a dachshund 🤣! He really enjoy his time with Nicola and she kept us updated with pictures and messages thought his stay :)!
Nicola has been amazing with our GSD! Our dog usually takes time to get used to people, however Nicola was very relaxed and great with her throughout. Our dog relaxed with Nicola very fast and was happy to see her again for more cuddles! Nicola is great with walking her too, despite her being a frustrated greeter on lead! Definitely our go-to dog sitter! 😊🐕

Nicola was amazing , so friendly and patient. She could not have been more accomodating and Cali absolutely loved her. Loved the wee update photos as well whilst we were away.

Schedule
I currently work full-time, Mon-Fri (9-5). Therefore, pet sitting/walking/drop-ins would be available on weekends only. It would be vary rare your dog would ever be left in my home alone. I love an afternoon stroll or trail walk, with the occasional hill walk at the weekends so we can have a lovely relaxing walk around some beautiful lochs (dog agility/ability considered and confirmed prior any adventures) which are nearby my home. I have my own transport so doggies that like car journeys will be able to day trip and have a pawesome time with me!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a mortgaged home with back and front garden, both are totally enclosed with a 6ft wooden back garden fence and a front garden with a metal 4ft fence. My home has 3 floors which your dog will be allowed to freely roam, I have a spare room which is where your dog will be able to have a space to relax if they do not wish to snooze on the sofa. I have no kids at my home.
A typical day
I have learned alot more working as a Foster Carer and understanding dog behaviours in more detail through the animal charity I volunteer with as they provide regular training. I love using snuffle mats, IQ toys, scent work and teaching your dog some tricks. Doggies love exploring new areas and as we know they explore the world with their noses so they can sniff to their hearts' content. I provide back scratches on demand, hugs, and accept slobbery kisses.
