I work from home and have flexible working hours, which enables me to offer alday at any time that best suits your cats needs. If for example there is a scheduling conflict, I will be able to let you know ahead of time so we can agree on a new time close to the original chosen time. But this would be very rare.

A typical day
I make sure every cat gets attention tailored to their personality and energy level. For playful cats, I’ll bring out interactive toys like feather wands, laser pointers, and balls to encourage exercise and stimulation. I love creating little “hunt” games to tap into their natural instincts and keep them mentally engaged. For more relaxed or senior cats, I’m just as happy to provide gentle play, brushing sessions (if they enjoy it), and calm companionship. Some cats simply love having someone sit nearby while they nap — and I’m always happy to be that reassuring presence. I also make time for cuddles and affection (on their terms, of course!), window watching together, and enrichment through new scents or safe exploration around the home. My goal is to keep your cat active, entertained, and emotionally comfortable so they feel secure and happy while you’re away.

Nicola looked after our cat Fletcher recently and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. From the first message, she was professional, reassuring and clearly experienced. Fletcher can be a bit particular (as most cats are!), but Nicola took the time to understand his routine, his quirks and what keeps him happy. While we were away, she kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which made a real difference. It was obvious he was relaxed and comfortable in her care, not just being “checked on”, but properly looked after. We came home to a settled, content cat and everything exactly as we’d left it. You can tell Nicola genuinely cares about animals and treats them like her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will absolutely be booking her again.
