Availability
I work full time during the week, but I have plenty of availability in the evenings for walks and visits — and I enjoy getting out for a good evening walk myself! I’m also available at weekends for longer walks, drop-in visits, and additional care when needed. I’m happy to offer weekend boarding for dogs once a good rapport and level of trust has been built between your dog and me, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and settled in my care.

I always aim to make pets feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, whether I’m caring for them in their own home or welcoming them into mine. I understand how important routine is for animals, so I take the time to follow their usual schedule, including walks, feeding, playtime, and quiet time. When caring for pets in their home, I make sure they feel safe and settled in a familiar environment while giving them plenty of attention and companionship. In my own home, I provide a calm, caring space where pets can feel part of the family, with lots of affection, exercise, and supervision to help them feel happy and secure.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have plenty of experience with working breeds, especially Collies, Labradors, and Spaniels. I regularly dog sit and walk for friends and family, so I’m very used to energetic pups, muddy paws, and plenty of ball throwing! I’m reliable, caring, and always make sure every dog gets the exercise, attention, and affection they need while in my care.

Nic will be an amazing care giver she is the only person we know can love and understand our dog as we do. He is a rescue Collie who, even after 7 years with us, still has a lot of anxiety, but Nic knows exactly how manage these issues with other dogs and people when out and about with him. Dougie returns the love by being excited to see her when she walks through the door. Anyone else comes to the door he either runs out in the garden or into the lounge. Nic would love nothing more than to have her own dog, but now is just not quite the right time.
