When caring for pets in their home, I stick closely to their usual routines to help them feel safe and secure. I provide plenty of affection, regular walks, playtime, feeding, and any needed medications. I also keep the home tidy and treat it with respect — just like I would my own. Every pet has their own personality, and I do my best to adapt to what makes them happiest and most comfortable.

Nicola is the most wonderful sitter for our cat, and goes the extra mile to help out. I was so impressed and grateful that she came back to look after him for an extra night when we found out I'd got the wrong return date for our flight. She is amazing! We came back to a very happy cat and a spotlessly clean house. Thank you, Nicola!

Nicola did a wonderful job looking after Rasmus the cat and taking care of our house, the plants, etc. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for pet sitters and/or house sitting. Not only did she look after our cat and the house beautifully, she went above and beyond, dealing with extra issues that came up along the way and even thinking of asking us if we needed anything like milk and bread for our return. She left the house spotless for us which was absolutely lovely to come back to. During our absence, she kept me posted with pictures and videos and we all noticed how happy Rasmus looked--he obviously adores Nicola! We would be delighted to have Nicola permanently as our cat/house sitter and really hope she will come back next time.
Nicola, who has taken the most wonderful care of our miniature dachshund, Mulberry. Mulberry is a sweet but sensitive little dog who thrives on cuddles and attention, and struggles with separation anxiety—so leaving him in someone else’s care is never something we take lightly. From day one, Nicola showed such warmth, patience, and understanding. She instinctively knew how to make Mulberry feel safe, secure, and loved. We were blown away by the level of care and affection she provided. Whether it was taking the time to sit with him for extra snuggles, ensuring he stuck to his routine, or sending us regular photo updates, Nicola made a huge difference not only to Mulberry’s happiness, but to our peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a relaxed, content little dog—and it was clear he had formed a real bond with her. Nicola is reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about animals. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone looking for loving, attentive pet care.

Schedule
Because I work from home most days, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m around for walks, playtime, meals, and companionship throughout the day. On the rare occasions I need to go into the office, I always plan around the pet’s needs and can adjust my schedule to make sure they’re never left without care or comfort. I would also check that this is ok with the pet owner.
