I do not have a set routine as I am retired. I was a hospital librarian for decades. I am organized and detailed and like specific directions so that your animal has the least amount of anxiety and distress while you are away. I prefer a meet and greet prior to booking.

I wake early. I feel I read dogs and cats well. If they are skittish, I'll get as near as I can, without them becoming stressed. If they're open and friendly, I am very much the same. Big hugger. I like to give lots of long rubs and scratches. If they want to sleep with me, they're welcome. For care of pets, the more I know about your pet, the better. My goal is that your pet will be as comfortable as they can be.

Any and all information about a dog and cat is important. Specifically, their regular day, their routine, in terms of how they communicate, when they eat, what they like, dislike, when they go out, where they sleep, if they have medical issues. All of it. The more information, the better.
A typical day
Your dog and I will take walks where you live. And/Or I will come to your cat, if s/he wants, for petting and play. For dogs, I look towards the owner to inform me of places their dog wants to go. Trails, parks, wherever the dog is most comfortable. And safe from other dogs, if that is an issue. If the dog likes to chase balls, in a fenced area, I can throw them, plenty. Frisbees, too. I am hoping the dog's family can let me know what a dog likes and dislikes, so the dog will be happy, while their family is away.
