To say we love dogs is an understatement!! They’re the best animals on the planet 😊 We said goodbye to our beautiful mini schnauzer Tess 18 months ago and really miss having her around for walks, cuddles and ball throwing. We had her from a puppy to senior and we all doted on her! We would be delighted to welcome your pooch into our home and get our doggie ‘fix’ :). I live with my two sons who are going into 10th grade this year. We are a loving, clean, and smoke free family who will give you peace of mind by offering a caring and safe environment. I will personally be fully responsible for looking after your dog as I’m the adult in the house. I’ve been a pet sitter for friends and family in the past and look forward to welcoming your dog into our home and giving him/her a little vacation of their own while you’re away. My Luna spent the weekend with Nicola and the experience was amazing. Nicola give me regular updates, she was very caring and accommodating, just to mention a few things. I highly recommend her as she offered me the comfort and peace of mind knowing my Luna was cared for. I would not hesitate to use her again.
If I could give Nicola and her family more than 5 stars, I would. Mocha was well looked after, comfortable, cuddled and loved. Nicola’s home was inviting, friendly and filled with positivity. She allowed us to have a pre-visit so Mocha could get familiar with her home which I felt was very kind and it certainly put my mind at ease. This family has a genuine love for dogs and you can sense it the minute you meet them. I left Mocha for two nights and I did not have an ounce of worry or anxiety because I knew that she was in a safe and loving home and getting the royal treatment. I highly recommend Nicola, the whole experience was so positive we will not even consider anyone else. Huge thanks and gratitude to Nicola and her family for making Mocha feel like she was part of their family.

Schedule
I work full time at home with the occasional day in Toronto (1-2 days a month) and my kids are in high school. I can walk a dog 2 times a day and offer regular toilet breaks and play in our back yard. And a ton of snuggles. Your dog is welcome in my office or can hang out downstairs and wonder around the house if it wants to! No dogs to sleep in mine or my kids beds though.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in back yard and can crate your dog if necessary at night if that’s what the dog prefers. I won’t let the dogs sleep in the beds. They can go everywhere else though and we will make sure they are warm and cozy.
A typical day
I can do 2 walks per day around the neighbourhood and into the park. I can also occasionally take your dog to the dog park , but only if your dog is socialized and friendly / easy with other dogs and has good recall.

- I can unfortunately only accept breeds that are hypo-allergenic and who don’t shed. One of my sons and I are allergic to fur. No aggressive dogs, or dogs with separation anxiety and only house trained pets who won’t poo or pee in the house pls!
