Safe, loving countryside care
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. My grandmother had a dog a spaniel and my sister has always had between four and five dogs and several horses. I’ve had my own Doberman since he was just seven weeks old, so I understand the importance of consistency, patient, and positive training from an early age. I’m very comfortable working with puppies and helping reinforce good habits in a calm, structured way. I’m an active and fun loving person and I love making sure dogs get both physical and mental stimulation. I regularly do cani-cross with my own dog which he absolutely loves, and I am happy to include active walks play sent games and enrichment depending on each dog need and personality. Every dog is different, and I enjoy getting to know that individual quirk, energy levels and preferences. Whether a dog needs lots of play and adventure or a calmer environment and gentle reassurance, I adapt my approach to suit them. My love for animals started when I was young. When I was about 10 years old, I found a lost dog and did everything I could to locate its owners. When that wasn’t possible, I helped find it a safe new home and continued visiting twice a week to take it for walk. That experience stayed with me and really shaped how much I care about the well-being of animals. My two children are grown-up and absolutely adore dogs. Today my home is a very animal friendly environment. Alongside my dog, I also have rabbits so for caring for animals and understanding their needs is very much part of daily life for me. Dogs in my car I’ve treated as part of the family and given plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection. I also have a warm water tap for hosing off the dog after a muddy walk and a downstairs dog shower.

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Nicola. Despite it being a last minute booking, she and her family took such kind and attentive care of my dog, especially because he was already unwell from the first day, he arrived with gastrointestinal issues and she went above and beyond to keep him clean, comfortable, and well looked after, even cooking rice to help him feel better and making sure he felt right at home. I also really appreciated the level of communication. Nicola kept me updated all the time, which gave me great peace of mind and reassured me that my dog was in safe, caring hands. She was also very mindful of his arthritis, making sure to walk him with extra care. What truly stood out was the level of love and attention she gave him. My dog is part of our family, and it meant so much to see him treated as if he were part of hers. He was genuinely happy staying with them and clearly felt safe and cared for. He also had a wonderful time with their lovely dog, Gino, who is kind and playful. The spacious garden gave them plenty of room to enjoy themselves, and my dog really made the most of it. I’m incredibly grateful for the level of care Nicola provided and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a genuine dog lover who will make their pet feel comfortable and part of the family.
Nicola J. has been amazing with my cockerpoo, who has separation anxiety. Her home is a home‑from‑home for him. He plays happily with her dog, which has really helped his socialisation, and her garden is properly secure which is a huge relief for me as my dog is an escape artiste. She and her family show him such kindness, and the biggest sign of all is that he starts squealing with excitement in the car as soon as we pull up on her drive. I know he’s safe. Would highly recommend.

Dates de la garde
I currently work full-time. I spend between two and three days per week at home with my dog. I am happy to come to collect your dog and drop back off in the evening after work for an additional fee. I have a dog safe car. I take my dog out for about a one hour walk each lunchtime and during breaks I regularly go into the garden and play ball games or scent sniffing games.

Safety and a calm, secure environment are very important to me. I have a large fully fenced garden where dogs can play and explore safely. The pond area it also securely fenced. My home is a relaxed and dog friendly space and I often work in the same room as my dog, so there is always supervision and company throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive regular toilet breaks and plenty of enrichment. We spend time playing in the garden with games such as fetch, hide and seek, and sent work to help stimulate both body and mind. I also have a large dog pen and a spacious crate available if a dog prefers a quiet rest space or a separation is needed for comfort and safety. My own dog is a lovely sweet unneutered male Doberman who is very friendly and enjoys the company of people and other dogs. I aim to provide a safe structured and positive environment where dogs can feel relaxed to cure and well care for. I love to see dogs happy.

I love to stimulate dogs. We live in the countryside so plenty of lovely walks in the area. Lots of fun and games in the garden, throwing balls, chase, scent training. Lots of opportunity to explore different smells.
