Schedule
I currently dedicate my time to caregiving and have a flexible daily schedule. I'm out for a two hour class most mornings, but my wife also works from home and can step in during that time, so your pet is never without someone there. Outside of that, I'm home the rest of the day and can adjust freely to whatever timing works best for your pet's routine.

Your pet's safety and comfort come first, always. I follow feeding, walk, and medication instructions exactly as given, and I keep a close eye on behavior throughout each visit so I can catch anything unusual early. I keep things calm and consistent, since that's what helps most pets relax when their owner isn't around.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I match their energy. For dogs, that might mean a long walk exploring the neighborhood, a game of fetch, or just relaxed time together on the couch. For cats, I focus on quiet playtime, a few favorite toys, and letting them set the pace, especially if they're shy at first. Either way, they'll get my full attention the whole visit.
