Adventures, long walks, company and cuddles
Having grown up surrounded by dogs and being lucky enough to travel and volunteer with animals in both Kenya and Australia, I've always adored animals of all shapes and sizes and am not phased by everything that can come with loving and looking after animals. I was also incredibly lucky to spend some time last year with a special family in Aberdeenshire helping look after 14 rescue horses and 7 dogs where I enjoyed learning how to read animals' body language and behaviour.

Nicola has become my first choice on Rover to look after my two dogs. They are loved, exercised, spoilt and clearly love their time with her. Nicola has been accommodating and easy with last minute changes and late pick ups and drop offs. She obviously loves looking after animals and I couldn’t be more comfortable leaving mine with her.
Bailey had a great time with Nicola and it couldn’t have been easier
Happy dog and happy owner ! Nicola looked after my dog for the weekend and was very professional leaving my house clean and tidy and a very happy dog, who had obviously enjoyed her company and the various walks she had. The house sitting service worked very well for my dog who is usually a bit stressed when left with other people in their own home, so will definitely use her services again.
Ziva enjoyed her first walk with Nicola and has taken to her very well. One happy wee dog and owner :)

Schedule
I'm currently taking a career break, having previously managed a mental health charity, so have plenty of time for long beach walks, hikes in the hills, exploring local parks and cuddles at home. I love looking after animals like they're my own and have lots of friends in Edinburgh with lovely dogs so your dog/s in particular would have lots of pups to meet for walks if they wanted some new friends and different stimulation.

I'd be delighted to dog / cat sit in your home as well as my own in the centre of Edinburgh. I've previously rented out my home so I really understand the value of having someone in your home who will take care of it and keep it safe. I'd be really happy to provide other references having not been with Rover long and having been off the app for a year whilst I was unavailable. I've been helping walk two gorgeous labs for the past 7 years and on asking their Dad for a reference he kindly sent back - “responsible, kind, observant, reliable, fun and loyal.” Feel free to drop me a message anytime with any questions -
A typical day
I love getting out on different walks everyday whether on the beaches near North Berwick, the hills in the Pentlands or more local walks at Cramond, Porty, South Queensferry and Inverleith park. I have a very doggy friendly car which makes it easy and I always make sure to dry down the dogs before they're back in the house (and will be equally happy to do bath times if needed).
