I would love to look after your fur baby!
I am a genuine animal lover! I have always had a massive love for dogs and cats and I have experience in looking after dogs of all sizes! I regularly look after my friend’s very energetic Chiweenie and I used to have a Beagle cross. I have experience in looking after nervous rescue dogs as well. I’ve had a cat for 9 years so I have lots of experience looking after cats also! I absolutely love being outdoors and I am lucky to live next to lots of big parks and next to Arthur’s seat so your pup would have lots of fun.

Nicola and her partner were fantastic with our Boston Terrier, Remy. They were calm, kind, engaged and patient with her. Nicola clearly loves animals, and asked lots of questions (the right questions) and we arranged a meet and greet in advance at a local park so that they could get to know her and her needs in advance of her stay. Remy doesn't immediately trust many people, and can be anxious and reactive, but she loved them both from the minute she met them. Communication was excellent beforehand and throughout her overnight stay. If she could speak, I expect she would say that she absolutely had the best time and adores them. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook with Nicola in future; either for overnights or ad-hoc care. Thank you
Absolutely fantastic sitter ! Boris had a wonderful time staying with Nicola and her husband, they went above and beyond to make sure he felt safe and loved. They provided us with regular updates on all the fun activities they'd been getting up to so we were able to enjoy our holiday safe in the knowledge Boris was happy and being well looked after. In fact he had such a brilliant time it was hard to get him to come home ! Massive thank you again guys will definitely book again in the future.
Nicola was great with Gryff - you could tell he had a lovely time at her home, he came out excited and wagging his tail when we collected him. She sent us regular updates which put us at ease. We would definitely ask Nicola to look after Gryff for us the next time we visit Edinburgh. Thank you Nicola!
Nicola, was very accommodating given my sudden family emergency and sudden change of plans. Otis had a lovely time and she kept me updated during his stay.
Nicola has been taking care of my dog for a long time. He loves spending time with her. He always comes back home tired from all the walkies. I trust her 100% with my dog.
Nicola is a natural with animals. I have known Nicola for over 10 years and she is a genuine kind soul! I am also a dog sitter and Nicola has assisted me with this on numerous occasions! This included walks, meal times and the administration of medication for elderly dogs. Your dog would be so lucky to have Nicola care for them :)

Schedule
I am available Monday - Friday from 4pm onwards and fully available on the weekends. I also have the school holidays off so plenty of time free to look after your pets :)

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced shared garden in my building as well as a park on my doorstep! My flat has a large living room and bedroom where your pups are free to run and jump around. I treat animals as family so they can make themselves as comfortable as they wish on furniture! I will be contactable 24/7 when caring for your fur baby and will send you regular photos and pupdates! I also use the app Strava where I record my walks so you can see where and what your dog has been up to!
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We can play lots of games and check out the parks in my neighbourhood where there will be lots of new smells. I live next to lots of dog friendly cafes and shops also! When it’s time to wind down I like to relax and get comfy on the couch where you pup can make themselves at home.

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours that I can account for. I want to know how often your dog needs to be walked and about meal times. Let me know if there are any dietary requirements as well! If your dog is nervous it would be good to meet before hand and maybe bring along some home comforts for their stay, blankets, toys etc. A dog’s trust is so important and I want to make sure they feel 100% comfortable around me and I will do my best to make them feel safe.
