Growing up I was always an animal person, I loved getting on my dad's four-wheeler and riding around the ranch to look at the cows and horses that we had. I had horses growing up, blue-heelers, and a Chihuahua before moving into Taylor during 2nd grade, where I met my soul dog, Maggie. Maggie is a huge part of why I'm pursuing a career with animals once I graduate college! During the winter storm I helped nurse a deserted cat back to help and kept her warm within my dad's house, a few months later, and also at my dad's house, I rehabilitated a litter of kittens that was abandoned by their mother and found them all a loving home! I am currently attending Texas State University with a Wildlife Biology degree. I believe pet sitting can help me get even more experience with taking care of animals no matter how big or small! I'm currently in college and have classes during the week but I can always drop in during my down time! I'm not afraid of any breed, especially not pitties (I adooore pitties!) I understand it's strange putting your animals care in someone else's hands, but I promise I'm responsible and absolutely dedicated to making sure you get the upmost and quality care you can get!

Safety, trust & environment
I would want to meet with the owner and animal to make sure both are comfortable with me being in the home and or around the animal. I know it can be stressful for them so I'd love to introduce them to my scent so they know I'm no threat! I'll make absolutely sure to follow what feeding routine they have, as well as a walking route, as I know sudden switches in smells and sights can make a dog jittery! For cats, I'll always make sure to keep a distance and let them come to me whenever they're comfortable doing so, pushing cats out of their comfort zone can cause quite a bit of stress, and that's the last thing I'd ever want to do. I can bring my own linens and do whatever chores need to be done around the house without any extra charge! I can provide myself with my own transportation and food! So please don't worry about any of that.

Nico did a wonderful job! It was my first day working in the office after having adopted my sweet pup on Saturday, and I was a little nervous now she’d do on her own. Nico was a huge help. They checked in on my sweet pup, giving her her dinner and some yard time, and followed all of my instructions perfectly. I will definitely book them again!

Schedule
I feed my animals daily before I leave school and first thing when I come home, I make sure their water is clean and I always try to take my dog for his daily walks! (I've been trying to leash train the cats, they do not appreciate it!). I make sure the cats have a clean, fresh litter box and I pay for their litter with my own money.
