I recently moved to Santa Rosa to be close to my 89-year-old father. I’m so glad to have this time with him, but I miss having a dog! I’d love to look after yours while you’re out of town. I’ve had dogs most of my adult life including two with special needs; needs that increased with age. I’m trustworthy, reliable and responsible. I will make sure your dog gets the exercise they need. I routinely walk 4-5 miles a day, petting every pooch I meet along the way. (Your dog may need/want less.) And your home will be sparkling clean when you come home. I can handle stays from 3 days up to two weeks and would prefer to work with a small number of clients whom I dog sit for whenever they travel. Safety, trust & environment
I only offer pet sitting in my client's home. When I'm there, I'm there full time, except for some personal errands. I love to play with the dogs I look after, taking them on long walks (depending on their needs), and snuggling with them in the evening. I've had special needs dogs of my own in the past and have no problem following feeding and medication schedules.

Nico is great with dogs! You can tell she genuinely loves them and enjoys being around them. She’s patient, caring, dependable, and really pays attention to their needs. Dogs naturally feel comfortable around her. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, I definitely recommend Nico!
Aside from Nico's overall general competence, she is definitely a super responsible person. But to me what is equally important is to see how greets and quickly bonds with any dog when doing her 10,000 + daily steps here in Oakmont. She has a bunch of other abilities, but to my way of thinking the combination of competence, responsibility in a natural dog lover are the key ingredients I would want. Oh, I almost forgot she has had plenty of experience ... ask her to tell you about them...

Schedule
I'm self-employed and semi-retired. Aside from some personal errands, when I'm looking after your dog I'm available for all day/night sitting in your home. I need a minimum of one week advance booking.
