Work-from-home pet lover!
I am a lifelong animal lover and very active person who enjoys keeping pets happy, healthy, and engaged. I volunteered at an animal shelter for five years, where I learned the best handling and walking techniques, how to give medicine, and how to make every pet feel safe and loved. I have experience with walking, day visits, and overnight sitting, and I work from home, so your pup will get plenty of attention, walks, and even runs if it suits them! I hold a Master’s degree in Fisheries, Animal, and Veterinary Sciences from the University of Rhode Island and have dedicated my career to supporting animal and human well-being. I approach all of my animal care with the same type of respect and love.

I am a runner, and have run with active dogs in the past. I can offer runs, walks (multiple times a day, if needed), and lots of snuggles. For your convenience, I can drive anywhere in the Boston area to walk your pet, though I would prefer hosting the dog at my apartment if the walks are multiple times per day.

Nicky took such great care of our senior dog, Gracie, while we were out of town for a few days! She communicated well with us and was flexible in adjusting the walking schedule when we found out there would be fireworks one night during Gracie’s nighttime walk. She always made sure the water bowl was full and send us cute pics and updates! Thank you, Nicky!!!
Nicky did a great job watching my dog all day. She kept me updated on what they were doing and sent pictures throughout the day.
Nicky has been great for Maisy, she started watching her when she was 4 months old and is very attentive with new training tips to keep my learning puppy on a good routine. Maisy loves her time at Nicky’s!!

Programa
I'm currently working from home out of a pet-friendly apartment that is located around lots of parks and two minutes from M Street Beach. Aside from a few ski and hiking weekends, I am generally available any day of the week.
