Best Home for Lazy Dogs
If you’re looking for a laid back home for senior and/or lazy dogs, you’ve found the right place! Calvin, our 18 year old chihuahua, is usually found napping, eating, or snacking on treats in our house. Our vet has lovingly titled him a “pampered pooch” - and we must agree! Our weekends are usually lounging around the house, watching Disney+, baking cookies, and heading outside several times a day. We aren’t a “dog park for 3+ hours a day” kind of home. Senior dogs would enjoy a weekend getaway to our home, though, all are welcome!

Nick is truly the best dog sitter there is. Nick had our dogs for just under 2 weeks, and in that time everything out of his control that could go wrong seemed to. As small as our smoke detector alarm batteries dying to our dog needing surgery… Nick handled every obstacle with care and kept us in the loop the whole time. As mentioned above one of our dogs had to have surgery to removed a foreign object that they ate prior to nicks stay with them starting. Nick was so caring, that our vet even commented that he is the best Rover he has ever seen. He drove our pup to and from the vet, and to the overnight vet where he needed to stay to recover for a few days, and even went to visit him. Then he managed his medications and diet after our pup returned home. Also continued sending us frequent updates throughout the process. Our pup is thankfully doing great now, and nick’s quick action is a big part of why his recovery went so well. We are so thankful to have found Nick (this was his second time watching our boys) and hope to have him pet sit for us again. Hopefully with less challenges next time.

Schedule
If you simply need someone to watch your pup for the weekend, the entire week, or make sure they go outside with plenty of food and treats, then I’m the sitter for you.

Safety, trust & environment
During the week, I work from home, allowing the pups plenty of opportunities to head outside for potty breaks. Calvin and visiting pups can usually be found on my lap or at my feet while I’m working away at my desk in the home office….Or any of the other seven dog beds in the house. Their choice! 😀 On the weekend, I may venture out for a few hours, but home in time for snacks, a potty break, and belly rubs.
A typical day
We are a home for lazy pets with light exercise needs. All kidding aside, we are a low-key home, best for around the clock cuddles.
