As a work from home musician and entertainment business owner, my independent schedule gives me the flexibility to care for all of our furry baby boys and girls around the clock.

Our spacious fenced backyard is where we get all the pups running around safely with balls toys and treats of course. In the summer heat we'll fill the shallow doggie pool to cool down. Silver Lake Reservoir Park is close by, so the size and energy of your dog will determine the workout we can do. As an active long distance track and cross country runner through college and since, I can match any dog’s activity level. I depend on you to tell me what you’d like your dog to experience during their active luxurious stay. They'll get what they need but I'll never over work them. We have enough room and plenty of toys to play inside or out and plenty of doggie space and couch seating for that ever important doggie rest, which they'll get plenty of too!

A typical day
Our pack works out twice daily, in the cool early morning and in the cool of the evening before sunset. We may run through the park, across the reservoir or play hard in our big backyard. I will always keep them off of any surface that is too hot and limit their time on it. An active pup is a happy pup and I love caring for all breeds. Any size, any energy level, their well-being is what that matters to me. I will be ever present and in the moment with them always, unless it’s rest time of course which we do very well in the air conditioned interior. I am 24/7 care and commitment and all dogs here will eat drink sleep play repeat.

Hey, I'm Nicky. Growing up as a farm kid, I've cared for all animals, especially various dog breeds big and small my entire life. Wife and I, live in Silver Lake as the proud pup parents of 2 adorable poodles. I work from home and my schedule is open and flexible, so your pet is my number one priority during their 5 star stay at Dog's Best Friend. We've been boarding happy dogs with Rover since 2022 and 10 years before that we boarded, dropped-in and walked doggie clients all around the TMZ. Available 24/7, for essential meet and greets with your doggie. Available 24/7, for doggie drop-offs and pick-ups. Our spacious backyard allows us to be very active daily and big enough to welcome all our doggie guests, any size, any energy level, I love them all. When we all snuggle up to chill after an active doggie day, your fur babies will have plenty of their own space, their own room when they want it and multiple comfortable sleep options, including their own dog bed or our snuggly couch all night if they like. Nothing brings me more joy than caring for all our loving furry friends. I live for their love and as Timothy Treadwell said, "I will die for these bears." In my care, they get everything they need, nothing they can't have and all the love they can handle with my undivided attention day and night. I'm always available to give your fur babies the best care they can get and love them like my own, so fear not, Dog's Best Friend is your baby’s home away from home! I am usually booked with loyal distinguished clients daily, so when your dog books a stay with us, they will be kept totally separate from the pack until they've all calmed down enough to meet. That way we can be absolutely sure there will be no issues between them. Even as they meet and greet, they will be separated by our tall interior doggie gate and introduced slowly and methodically. We've never had an issue with pet aggression between our doggies and clients and this process ensures stranger dogs become friends because we always set them up to win! Nickolas was very attentive to Lucy’s needs. She’s a senior dog so she needs a little extra TLC. He sent me pictures, videos and updates of her daily to keep me updated. She had a great time and even tried to pull me back to the house on our way out to keep playing with her new friends. We will definitely use him again.
