I am 37 years old and have personally had cats and dogs for over 20 years and taken care of many dogs for friends and family when they have been away or busy with work. Every single one, from the Labradors to the Newfoundland, it has been a pleasure. I find all animals are a joy to be with and I thoroughly enjoy training them and playing with them. I enjoy finding ways to keep their minds active, as it benefits them greatly with their obedience and helps them rest. I recently lost my beautiful labrador friends, and currently have two smaller dogs, who are very friendly and get on well with other dogs and are very obedient. I take it upon myself to learn new ways to care for and train dogs, it is a huge interest of mine. On a personal level, I have previously worked with the Police and volunteered for the Ambulance service. I have a completely clear enhanced DBS check. I have undertaken a pet first aid course to ensure I am able to deal with any emergency that may arise. I am happy working with all breeds of dog, and have experience with high-energy working dogs too, such as Malinois, but would need to know of any issues to be sure I can cater for it. Happy to train dogs whilst walking/sitting as well, but would need to know the issues prior. I have experience working with dogs that are nervous or scared of specific things, as well as experience of dogs that pull when walking, and/or can be aggressive towards others. I will only ever work with one client at a time and never take multiple jobs at once. This ensures peace of mind that your dog would have my full attention and there should be no conflict with other unknown dogs. Please ensure that you are happy paying me through Rover before booking.

Nick was great with my two dogs and kept me up to date with their walks with messages and pictures. One of my dogs in particular is old and a bit hit and miss if she wants a walk or not, and as it happened she didn’t. So instead Nick worked around this issue and sat with her in my garden giving her fuss. My other one who is full of beans was then taken for a run and swim which he loves. I will definitely be using Nick again.
Nick does a fantastic job. Very reliable and excellent with Oliver, it's great to know that he is being well looked after when we cannot be there.
We were just away for one night but I did not hesitate to call on Nick to ensure that the dogs were fed and let out for some leg stretch. Nick always communicates and provides status updates which gives great peace of mind. Thank you Nick.
We are extremely pleased with the great service we received from Nick. He kept us up to date without overcommunicating and we were amazed to see how calm and happy the dogs were on our return. Nick is incredibly professional and can absolutely be recommended. He even provided some training to the dogs and offered to continue to help.
I would recommend Nick to anyone looking for a dog-sitter or dog-walker . I have been utilising Nick’s service for just over a year and he is reliable, consistent, enthusiastic, passionate about dogs and extremely polite; all necessities in my book for a professional dog-sitter. My dogs Ghost and Buster absolutely adore him and it is clear he goes the extra mile when caring for them. Nick obviously spends hours on end playing and engaging with my dogs as they are always exhausted when I return home to them. If I was asked to give Nick a star rating I would give him undoubtedly give him five stars; he is excellent at what he does, genuinely cares for the dogs as though they were his own and is extremely professional.

Schedule
I’m currently working for myself in IT which gives me the flexibility to work different hours and enables me to be able to walk and play with dogs when needed to help others.

A typical day
Southwood Country Park, Fleet Pond, Hawley Woods, Yateley Common and local parks, amongst others. Very happy to go to specified places or enclosed dog parks if preferred. This can all be discussed.
