I am 37 years old and have personally had cats and dogs for over 20 years and taken care of many dogs for friends and family when they have been away or busy with work. Every single one, from the Labradors to the Newfoundland, it has been a pleasure. I find all animals are a joy to be with and I thoroughly enjoy training them and playing with them. I enjoy finding ways to keep their minds active, as it benefits them greatly with their obedience and helps them rest. I recently lost my beautiful labrador friends, and currently have two smaller dogs, who are very friendly and get on well with other dogs and are very obedient. I take it upon myself to learn new ways to care for and train dogs, it is a huge interest of mine. On a personal level, I have previously worked with the Police and volunteered for the Ambulance service. I have a completely clear enhanced DBS check. I have undertaken a pet first aid course to ensure I am able to deal with any emergency that may arise. I am happy working with all breeds of dog, and have experience with high-energy working dogs too, such as Malinois, but would need to know of any issues to be sure I can cater for it. Happy to train dogs whilst walking/sitting as well, but would need to know the issues prior. I have experience working with dogs that are nervous or scared of specific things, as well as experience of dogs that pull when walking, and/or can be aggressive towards others. I will only ever work with one client at a time and never take multiple jobs at once.
