Safety, trust & environment

I have a lot of experience with a very high energy puppy who is half husky and half golden retriever. She struggled a lot with pulling on the leash as a young puppy but now walks a lot better throughout her training. Being relatively new to Texas, I always take precautions when walking her. I usually make sure she is soaked in cold water and doesn’t walk on the pavement if we go out when it’s 95+ degrees. I always make sure to leave things the way I find them. Being a teacher, this is something important to me, so I always respect other people’s pets and property.

Information Nick K. would like to know about your pet

It's helpful to know if there are any tendencies with your pet. Do they need certain medicine? How will they behave around others including people and pets?

A typical day

I like to play with and walk the pets. Our dog loves to play tug and chase the tennis ball. I think it's important for pets to get as much mental exercise as they do physical to help curb bad behaviors.

Pet care experience

I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I started walking and learning to care for my family’s mini schnauzer when I was around 10. I got a Goberian named Bristol about 6 years ago, which my girlfriend and I both care for full time. Shortly after, we adopted a cat named Raya! Most of my experience comes in the form of walking, bathing, feeding, playing, and training the dogs and cats I’ve had.

Nick has been around dogs his whole life and has a great love and understanding of them. He has cared for my dog many times while I was at work and has even taught him a few tricks as well. It was comforting to know that my fur baby was happy and well cared for when I was away.
