Nick is a total natural with animals! He first helped me care for my cat, who doesn’t necessarily love everyone she meets. Zsa Zsa took to Nick right away since he knew how to approach and pet her properly. Now Nick also helps me with my dog, who absolutely adores him! Nick is very knowledgeable about animal behavior and care, and he seems to understand them instinctively. He also communicates well and sends me cute pictures of my animals when I can’t be with them! I would definitely recommend Nick for pet care, as every animal I’ve seen him meet is immediately his friend.

Schedule
I am currently available most days of the week to walk or watch pups. I am at home full time and I live with my wife who loves dogs as well and works as a preschool teacher. With my own dog I go to our local dog park every morning and on a short walk in the evening keeps him happy. Our dog park is a small community dog park where I know all of the dogs who come regularly.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard and a clean home with plenty of toys for dogs. I will make sure your dog stays comfortable and happy, going on walks and playing in the back yard. Our cat is used to dogs and has most of the back of the house to herself, but please warn me if your dog is not used to cats! Dogs sleep in our extra room in their crate is preferred.

A typical day
We enjoy walking to the dog park near my house every morning. It is a very small, safe, neighborhood dog park with everyday locals so we know all the dogs. My dog then usually naps during the day and gets energy again in the afternoon. So we play in the backyard or go on an evening walk around the nearby park/school. We use treats to learn new commands and my dog is very well trained on how to come back when called. We give lots of attention, scratches, and positive reinforcement. If your dog stays over it is in a safe neighborhood with a complete fence, no pool, with garage and house access and lots of love!
