Information Nick H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dogs or pets have any special needs. During the meet and greet I’ll gather all the information about your dog/s that’ll make their stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Unfortunately as we have an 11 year old daughter, I won’t be able to board dogs that are aggressive to children, adults or other dogs. I usually have a maximum of 3 friendly, sociable dogs staying at any one time, therefore it’s important your dog/s like to play with and be around other friendly dogs. I am always supervising so that dogs can socialise in a fun, safe and engaging environment. 😊
A typical day
I’ll take dogs on varied walks (we have lots of beautiful scenic walks under 8 minutes drive away) as well as within walking distance. I’ll play games like fetch/frisbee, hide and seek with treats around the house and garden. We also have a large selection of dog toys and treat puzzle toys. They’ll enjoy tailored enrichment and plenty of attention throughout their stay, for a fun and engaging home from home experience.

Experienced Dog Carer (Beeston)
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Nick, and my love for dog walking, boarding and pet care stems from a lifetime of loving and caring for animals. With over 20 years of experience looking after dogs (large and small), I've learned what keeps them happy and thriving, whether it’s a long walk, a good play session, or just some quiet company on the sofa. I was blessed to share 13 years with my own whippet-cross Alfie, from tiny puppy to old age, a bond that taught me the deep connection between pets and their people. I currently care for two gerbils (Aspen and Smudge) with my 12-year-old daughter, and I love giving pets the attention they crave when their owners can’t be there. I’m committed to providing reliable, loving care, tailored to each pet’s needs, from daily walks to feeding routines. I’d be honoured to look after your furry family members and give you peace of mind while you're away or working. We have a detached home perfectly suited to looking after your pets. Our medium sized garden with lawn, decking and patio areas is totally secure with 6 foot fencing all around. Access to the garden is only possible through the house so it is completely safe and enclosed. If your dog is heat sensitive, we have a garden cabin with air-conditioning to keep cool on hot summer days. I’m a stay at home Dad, so I'll always be with your pet/s day and night, making sure they have the best time possible! Please get in touch if you'd like to arrange a no commitment meet and greet, so we can ensure we are a good fit for each other and your pet/s. Over the next 6 months I'll be studying for the Ofqual regulated (Level 3) - Professional Canine Day Care and Boarding qualification. Then moving on to specialise in dog behaviour and positive training techniques. I'm also a keen photographer, so you'll get lots of pictures of your pets - if you'd like me to send them to you while away! Any questions at all please don't hesitate to drop me a message. 😊
Reviews

This was Betty’s second time with Nick and was just as good as her first! We get daily updates and photos which makes our holiday as well, knowing she is having such a great time. We requested one to one last time but now know that she is happy with other dogs so made plenty of new friends!

Thanks Nick for looking after Mollie the last few days. We could tell that she had a fabulous time looking at the photos we received each day. She certainly went on some interesting walks and was extremely well cared for. Nick is very attentive, patient and calm and flexible with our plans and kept us updated frequently which was appreciated. We would not hesitate to use him again and have rebooked for next month. Thank you. 100%

We have just picked our girl up from.Nick's - she has had the most fabulous day! Nick kept us in the loop with photos of her walks and her snoozing in the settee❤️ Excellent communication throughout - we will definitely booking Willow in with him again.

It was wonderful having a warm and loving home for Maki when we’re out of town. Maki felt so comfortable with Nick at the first meet and greet. He gave her daily walks, play time and socialisation. He also sent us regular updates which helped us feel at ease knowing she was in good hands. Nick is very professional in all ways. We definitely recommend him.
