Hi, I’m Nick, my love for dog walking, boarding and pet care stems from a lifetime of loving and caring for animals. With over 20 years of experience looking after dogs (large and small), I've learned what keeps them happy and thriving, whether it’s a long walk, a good play session, or just some quiet company on the sofa. I was blessed to share 13 years with my own whippet-cross Alfie, from tiny puppy to old age, a bond that taught me the deep connection between pets and their people. Sadly we lost Alfie in December 2024 and the empty feeling house was the catalyst for starting this new journey. I’m committed to providing reliable, loving care, tailored to each pet’s needs, from daily walks to feeding routines. I’d be honoured to look after your furry family members and give you peace of mind while you're away or working. We have a detached home perfectly suited to looking after your pets. Our medium sized garden with lawn, decking and patio areas is totally secure with 6 foot fencing all around. Access to the garden is only possible through the house so it is completely safe and enclosed. If your dog is heat sensitive, we have a garden cabin with air-conditioning to keep cool on hot summer days. Please do get in touch if you'd like to arrange a no commitment meet and greet, so we can ensure we are a good fit for each other and your pet/s. Looking ahead, I'll be studying for the Ofqual regulated (Level 3) - Professional Canine Day Care and Boarding qualification. Then moving on to specialise in dog behaviour and positive training techniques. Willow has had another fabulous few days of daycare with Nick - she loves going, and we love the regular photos we get from the lovely walks he takes Willow on. We have complete peace of mind that Willow is looked after expertly, and we will definitely book Nick again:-)
Nick is genuinely one of my favourite sitters I’ve ever had for Flynn. He and his daughter are both absolutely lovely with him, and I always feel very comfortable knowing Flynn is in their care. Flynn can be reactive to other dogs, although he actually really enjoys having dog friends once he feels secure. Nick seems to understand that balance incredibly well and handles Flynn’s insecurity and reactivity like a pro. He was actually the first sitter to ever send me photos of Flynn happily out walking alongside other dogs, which was so lovely to see! Flynn normally ends up being walked separately, so seeing him relaxed and enjoying himself as part of a little group was pretty special. It’s also very obvious from the photos and updates that Flynn has a genuinely great time with Nick and feels settled with him. Nick sends plenty of updates and photos, which I really appreciate, and he’s just a genuinely kind, reliable and easy person to deal with. I’m particularly grateful to him for how helpful he was when I had surgery earlier this summer. I wasn’t well enough afterwards to leave the review he deserved at the time, but I haven’t forgotten how much his help meant to me. Nick understandably gets booked up quickly, but I’m always very grateful when he’s available to have Flynn. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Nick and his family are so welcoming with Digby when it's time to collect him we think he would like to stay longer. We can really tell Digby enjoys his stay with Nick and that puts our minds at rest Thank you Nick for making Digby so welcoming and cared for Gary & Fiona
Nick has been nothing short of fantastic with his care for Willow. We have received regular updates and photos so we could see what a great time she was having in daycare with Nick. We have already booked for a repeat :-)

I have a detached home perfectly suited to looking after your pets. Our medium sized garden with lawn, patio, cabin and decking areas is totally secure with 6 foot fencing all around. Access to the main garden is only possible through the house so it is completely safe and enclosed. We also have active CCTV surrounding the house and garden.
A typical day
I’ll take dogs on varied walks (we have lots of beautiful scenic walks under 8 minutes drive away), as well as within walking distance. I’ll play games like fetch/frisbee, hide and seek with treats around the house and garden. We also have a huge selection of dog toys and treat puzzle toys. They’ll enjoy tailored enrichment and plenty of attention throughout their stay, for a fun and engaging home from home experience.

- Please let me know if your dogs or pets have any special needs. During the meet and greet I’ll gather all the information about your dog/s that’ll make their stay as comfortable and fun as possible. Unfortunately as I have a 12 year old daughter, I won’t be able to care for dogs that are aggressive to children, adults or other dogs. I usually have up to a maximum of 3 friendly, sociable dogs staying at any one time, therefore it is important your dog/s like to play with and be around other friendly dogs. I am constantly supervising so that dogs can socialise in a fun, safe and engaging environment. 😊
