Trusted Care in a Loving Home.

I have cared for dogs of all ages and personalities over the years, including my own much loved Australian Shepherd. I am experienced in looking after energetic puppies, adult dogs and senior dogs who may need a gentler pace or additional support. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and treat every guest as a cherished member of the family. My home offers a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment, with a very large, secure garden surrounded by greenery and trees where dogs can explore, play and relax. I also provide plenty of toys, enrichment and individual attention to help keep them happy and mentally engaged throughout their stay. I have the time and flexibility to give each dog the care they deserve, including long walks in nature, playtime, companionship and plenty of affection. I take time to understand every dog’s usual routine, personality and individual needs, whether they enjoy active adventures, gentle walks, puppy training or simply relaxing in a calm home environment. When your dog stays with me, their safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come first. My aim is to provide dependable, loving care and a genuine home from home, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is comfortable, cared for and having a wonderful stay.

Nick is the ultimate dog-sitter. I don’t want him to get so busy he can’t look after my dog but if you need someone to take care of your dog Nick’s your guy. He sends lots of photos and videos and Snispy always looks so happy to be with him. 10/10 Feel very glad to have Nick taking care of the laddo…

Thanks sooo much for looking after Storm! We really appreciate everything you did and for the regular updates. You’re a fantastic dog sitter and we really recommend you to anyone looking for a loving dog sitter who will take the best care of their dog. See you again soon!

Only positive things to say about our experience with Nick - he is a very dog loving person, we have a poorly dog that requires a lot of attention and care, especially with his meds and Nicks attitude was very reassuring. He gave us daily updates on meds and regular photos and clips of our little Pickle enjoying herself. Highly recommend.

Schedule

Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine. I have plenty of free time throughout the day to dedicate to walking, playing, and caring for dogs. Mornings usually start with a good long walk in nature, followed by feeding and some playtime in my large enclosed garden with trees and toys. I’m home most of the day, so dogs get lots of attention, company, and regular breaks outside. Evenings often include another walk or quiet time together. This flexible schedule means I can provide consistent, loving care every day.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets in my home. I provide a secure, calm, and loving environment where dogs feel comfortable and protected. My home has a really large enclosed garden with trees, allowing dogs to play freely without risk. I carefully supervise all dogs during playtime and walks to ensure their wellbeing. I maintain a clean and safe space, regularly checking for any hazards, and tailor care to each pet’s individual needs, including diet, exercise, and any medical requirements. I build strong trust with pet owners through clear, honest communication and updates on their pet’s wellbeing. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners, knowing their loved ones are in safe, caring hands.

A typical day

A typical day with me is calm, engaging, and full of fun for the dogs in my care. We usually start the morning with a gentle wake-up, followed by breakfast and a relaxing walk in nature to get some fresh air and stretch our legs. Throughout the day, we spend time playing in my really large green enclosed garden with trees, where there’s plenty of space to run around, explore, or just relax in the shade. I have lots of toys to keep dogs stimulated and happy, from fetch and tug to puzzle games. If the dog enjoys it, I’ll also include some basic training or enrichment games to keep their minds active. We take breaks for rest, cuddles, and quiet time indoors, especially during hotter parts of the day. Later in the afternoon or early evening, we go for another walk—sometimes a peaceful one in the park or a more energetic play session depending on the dog’s needs and personality. Throughout the day, I keep a close eye on their comfort, hydration, and behaviour to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

It’s important to me that every dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. Please let me know in advance if your dog has any special needs, medical conditions, allergies, or behavioural issues—no matter how small. It also helps to know their routine, likes and dislikes, how they are with other dogs, and any training cues you use. The more I know, the better I can tailor their care and make them feel right at home.
