Safety, trust & environment

I provide the utmost quality of care for client's pets and home. This is by getting to meet the clients and pets before the job. I ask many questions about routines, vet information, allergies, pet medications (if applicable). I try my absolute best to be informed and prepared in case of any emergency. I also try to attend to plants and other menial chores around the home. I believe I mentioned earlier that I always leave a client's home better than I found it. Same as I would do out in the wild on the trails.

Information Nick C. would like to know about your pet

What are their routines, vet information, diet and food dosages, medications (if applicable), allergies (if applicable), temperament, likes and dislikes, exercise routines (yes/no), toys, etc.

A typical day

I like to take dogs on hikes with me in the summer if they're able to and the clients trust me to do so. Generally in the evenings I like to relax and get some schoolwork done and love on the pets. I will take them on walks if and as needed. I do like to play with dogs and will get their toys out and play with them for a while. I try my best to stick to whatever routine the clients has for them to the best of my ability. Friendly reminder that I do work from 8-4 on weekdays so routines may vary.

Pet care experience

What sets me apart from other sitters is my attention to detail. I have gained valuable skills in my 10+ years of housesitting and petsitting that are needed to ensure high-quality care, love, and safety of your entrusted loved ones. I generally ask new clients a bunch of questions about the house and pets because I like to be prepared. This will include questions about routines, vet information, where the shutoffs are in case of an earthquake, etc. In addition, I ALWAYS offer plenty of references to assure clients of the high-quality care I provide when entrusted with their home and pets.

Nick was very conscientious about giving me updates about my dogs. He also make sure that I made it home to ensure that the dogs would be taken care of. In addition, my house was in great shape when I returned.

Nick was great! He was able to watch our two dogs on short notice and even came over to meet them beforehand. We were especially worried about our one difficult little guy, but Nick won him over in no time. Both dogs were happy and healthy when we got back!
