I work from home during the work week with a home office in the backyard. Your pup is free to hang out in the office with me or play or relax in the backyard with Boots (I can see them through the sliding glass door). The dogs also have open access to our home at all times through a doggie door. We go for a walk most days (or whatever is the most comfy way to be active for your pup) and Boots usually matches the mood of whatever pups are visiting - from active play in the backyard to sunbathing in the sun or lying next to me in the office, it's a relaxed but playful environment. As far as drop-off and pick-up times, our "open hours" are between 8 AM-9 PM.

Safety, trust & environment
We know it's hard to leave your dog and will send lots of photos so you know they're doing well. On the few occasions when we may have to leave the house, we always make sure that your dog is comfortable and not alone for long. We're happy to crate them inside, let them stay inside with access to the backyard via the doggie door, etc. while we're away. Whatever is most comfortable for your dog works for us. Although we only take up to two dogs at a time, your dog's visit may still overlap with another pup or two as we provide doggie day care for up to two dogs for family and friends. It makes for fun play days and restful nights. We always make sure that Boots approves of all dogs beforehand, however, to ensure they are friendly with other pups.

Information Nichole & Chris N. would like to know about your pet
We would like to know about your dogs' temperament and any special needs or care they require. We ask that all dogs are up to date on their vaccines for the health and wellness of all dogs in our care. We highly recommend the Bordetella vaccine to avoid kennel cough. Although we're not a kennel, we have multiple dogs here at once and sometimes take them on outings to dog parks per the owner's permission. We don't require records, however, and operate on the honor system.
A typical day
We take the dogs for a walk on most days for about 30-45 minutes, as long as the weather is reasonable to do so. If your dog isn't used to walks (in a way that we can't keep them or others safe) we'll throw the ball in the backyard, play tug-of-war, etc. From time to time, we'll take pups to the off-leash dog park to run and play if it suits their temperament on weekends. Otherwise, the pups are usually hanging out with us on the back patio when the weather is nice or following one of us around inside the house. They typically sleep at the foot of our bed next to Boots.

Pet care experience
As a Rover family for years now, we've had the privilege of having many pups in our lives. Dogs are a part of the fabric of our family and story as we've cared for them from the time our three kids were in elementary school to now that they're older (two teens and one in college). We all look forward to having new pup company, including our dog Boots.
Reviews

Nichole & Chris were very sweet, accommodating, and communicated well. Highly recommend.

Nichole and Chris were great!! I got lots of updates on Pine and it looked like she was having so much fun! It was clear from our meet and greet that Nichole and Chris have a lot of space and a great set up for taking care of dogs, which I really appreciate. Pine is a high energy dog and I am thankful to have had the right people to watch her.

Amazing place for maple to spend the weekend! I could tell she was right at home. Nichole & Chris provided daily updates and took the dogs for a fun trip to the park

Multi repeat client. Nicole and Chris are excellent! They have always taken excellent care of our pups!
