Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I keep my schedule flexible so I can fit in walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting around my other responsibilities. I’m generally available on most weekdays for morning and evening visits, as well as plenty of weekend availability for longer stays or more frequent check-ins. I keep my calendar updated and I’m big on communication, so we can work out timing that fits your pet’s usual routine. Whether your pet needs quick potty breaks, longer walks, or multiple visits a day, I’ll do my best to match their normal schedule.

Safety is always my first priority. I follow your instructions closely, keep doors and gates secured, and never let pets off-leash in unsecured areas. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, any triggers or quirks they have, and how you prefer things done in your home. During visits, I make sure pets get bathroom breaks, fresh water, the right food, and plenty of attention and supervision. I’ll send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat your home with respect and your pet as if they were my own, comfortable, cared for, and never left wondering where their person went.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have been the “go-to” pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors for years. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels (from couch potato seniors to zoomy puppies who need structure and play). I can help with walks, feeding, playtime, basic routine reinforcement (sit, stay, etc.), and keeping pets calm when their people are away. I’m also comfortable giving oral medications if needed and following any specific instructions you have. My goal is always the same: keep your pet safe, happy, and on their normal routine while you’re gone.

Nicholas did a great job caring for my cat while I was out of town for the holidays. This was my first time using Rover, and I had no worries with my first experience thanks to him. He dropped by for a meet and greet, and got along with my cat well. He also easily followed my unique care instructions for my cat and living situation. Very good communication, and an overall pain free expeeience!
Nicholas is a responsible and incredibly loving pet caregiver. My dog is huge, and Nicholas never hesitates to match his playful energy, he truly connects with him. He has also cared for Beaux during a time when he was very sick, and Nicholas handled the constant cleaning, accidents, and messes with so much patience and compassion. I trust him completely with my pets and highly recommend him.
