Level of friendliness towards people and other animals, especially when walking around. Any special needs that the pet may need throughout the day is something I would like to know as well.

I would love to explore different areas on a walk with your dog. I also love to play catch and run around in a yard/park with your dog. I enjoy taking dogs on hikes at Waveny in New Canaan or Selleck Woods in Darien.

I haven taken care of dogs and cats since I was 14 years old, and have always had a dog or cat in my household growing up. I grew up with a 110 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback and now have a German Shepherd/Husky mix. I also have a cat at home and am comfortable taking care of cats. I have a lot of experience with dogs over 50 pounds and am comfortable with any size. I have had friends parents throughout high school ask me to care for their pets during vacation. I currently dog walk throughout the weeks for different families, and house sit often as well. I have included pictures of some of the dogs I have taken care of.

I think Nicholas is incredible with animals, especially dogs. You can tell how much he really cares about them - we used to foster dogs back in college, and you could tell how much time and energy he put into these dogs’ well-beings. Anyone who decides to work with Nick will be pleased with how well he treats their dogs in their absence. I can assure you that your dog will be in great hands with Nicholas!

Nick recently cared for my dear dog Pumpkin, my 11 year old chow chow who suffers from an array of medical issues. Nick was incredibly thoughtful in his care for Pumpkin and went above and beyond to meet all of her needs. Nick truly became the best friend that she never knew she needed!!
Nick has taken care of both my senior dog and my 4 year old cat. He is extremely patient with them, as they are both divas. It’s very clear how much Nick loves and cares for animals - he treats each one like his own. I highly recommend booking with Nick!
