Hi, I’m Nick! I’ve worked in professional pet care and veterinary settings for over a decade — from kennel assistant to pharmacy tech, in emergency and ICU departments. I’ve cared for animals of all sizes, ages, and personalities, but my heart belongs especially to those with a little extra “spice” — whether that’s anxiety, aggression, disabilities, or complex medical needs. I’ve raised and trained my own blind, seizure-prone pup, who went from terrified to total social butterfly, and I’ve worked with diabetic cats, nervous rescue dogs, and grumpy geriatric pugs. I’m comfortable giving oral and injectable meds, keeping a close eye on signs of distress, and working with pets who need a little extra patience and love. I currently offer drop-ins, walks, and overnight sitting in your home (no hosting at my apartment, unfortunately). I’m flexible, reliable, and truly love making a bond with every pet I meet — especially the shy, quirky, or “tough” ones. Whether your companion needs a quick potty break, careful insulin management, or just someone to sit quietly and build trust, I’m here to help. I worked in veterinary medicine for nearly 10 years, including in emergency and ICU care. I'm confident administering medication, recognizing distress signs, and calmly responding to emergencies. I treat your pets (and home) with total respect, communicate clearly, and always prioritize safety. Whether your pet is shy, senior, or needs special care, I’m here to help them feel safe and loved.

Nicolas watched our cat and snake while we were off getting married/on honey moon and did a fantastic job! Our cat seemed so much less stressed than he usually is when we get home from even a weekend away and we were gone for almost two weeks! Got consistent check ins and pictures. Came home to a nearly empty treat tub so we know the cat was well loved on, the snakes humidity was properly maintained, and the house was clean! Cannot thank Nicolas enough for the peace of mind he provided so we could truly enjoy our honey moon.
Nicholas was so helpful with a short notice request! He is communicative, accommodating, and we received very cute photos of our pets. The house was clean and our dogs seemed very happy when we returned home. Would definitely book with him again in the future!
If I could give 6 stars, I would. We have an extremely special needs dog who is difficult and we were worried about finding the right person to take care of her. Needless to say, we found the one. Nicholas understood her needs, fully accommodated them, and took care of our baby like one of his own. We also have 2 other pets that he took care of at the same time. We are so thankful we chose Nicholas and will booking him again any time we need the girls looked after!
Nick was attentive and caring. Loki loved him, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing he was there. Will definitely re-book with Nick!
For years, Nick has been one of the best pet caregivers I know! He's great with my animals -, both big and small. He's so patient and kind and never fails to get my old man's tail wagging! I'm sad that I moved away, because there's nobody I trust more with my fur babies than Nick!
I have known Nicholas many years. He is the most incredible pet caregiver ever! Patient, kind, and understanding to each and everyone of my 5 dogs. He has gotten to know and understand each of them. Nicholas has a way with dogs and cats, they sense a sincere goodness within him and respond accordingly. Even letting my "don't touch my feet" chihuahua do his nails with ease and no stress! Nick is an extremely capable caregiver, being mindful of all instructions given to care for my pets. I give Nick a 5 star rating!

Monday–Thursday: Unavailable 8am–2pm Fridays: Available before 8am and after 11am Available mornings before 8am, afternoons & evenings after 2pm. I am flexible on weekends and can give you pet extra love and care during your weekend getaway!
