41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs

Availability

Since my main career is remote, I'm home to keep an eye on dogs throughout the day. My own pets get a morning and evening walk plus feeding, so there's a consistent routine your dog can settle into.

About Nicholas P.

Communication

1 repeat pet parent
100% response rate
Usually responds in a few minutes

Skills

20 years of experience
Oral medication administration
Senior dog experience
Can provide daily exercise

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog's safety is always the top priority. If everyone in the house needs to step out and there aren't enough eyes to keep watch, I use a crate to keep things calm and secure until someone's back. And if you'd prefer I stay with your dog the whole time instead, that's absolutely fine too — happy to work with whatever makes you most comfortable.

Information Nicholas P. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know the exact dosage, frequency, and administration method for any medications your dog needs. I'd also appreciate knowing how they typically react to strangers, other animals, and children during walks, along with any triggers or fears I should be aware of.

A typical day

Playing fetch, catch, or tug-of-war in the yard or a local park. Allowing the dog to lead and sniff during walks for maximum sensory engagement.

Pets

Raised, nursed, and foster Samoyeds

Pet care experience

I've cared for Samoyeds my whole life, including litters from several of my own dogs. I've also looked after neighborhood dogs of all sizes, from chihuahuas to German shepherds, so I'm comfortable with pets big and small.
