We are a husband-and-wife team who each have 50 years' experience living with pets/family members, and 12 years' experience as professional pet sitters. We are homeowners in Fleming Island and have flexible schedules, to accommodate many different needs of clients.

Safety, trust & environment
In your home, your pets (and you) of course are in charge. We will find out as much as possible about your pets and what you want for them during the Meet-and-Greet, when we will get to know you and of course your pets. We are homeowners in Fleming Island, but don't mind driving. We are self-employed, and since there are two of us, we can work together or individually to meet your and your pets' needs, as drop-in play time visits or as overnight stays. For overnight stays, we try to stay flexible since every family and every pet is different. We will stay overnight in your home for up to 14 hours., which includes two of your pets' meals. We can work with you to add in day visits as well, depending on distance and hours. We will at times board up to three cats from one families, in a bedroom that is used as a cat playroom, with toys, cat trees, vertical shelving play space, a bed, cat beds, and a large window, with space to accommodate your cats' food, litter box, and special items. Your visiting feline will have privacy away from our cats, but of course plenty of time with us, in their own guest bedroom. Our long-term boarders have had the run of the house after everyone gets acquainted over time, and that can be considered as well. We understand the needs of families with multiple pets and will work with you whenever possible to keep costs affordable, with group rates. Just ask!

Melissa was great with my 3 cats! She played with them and made sure they ate their food. I have one on a special diet so she ensured he would eat his food. She sent tons of photos and kept me in the loop with how they are doing! Will book again :)

Melissa and Nick took wonderful care of my cat, Charlie, while I was away for a few days. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. They sent lots of photos and frequent updates, which I really appreciated and made me feel connected while I was away. When I got home, Charlie was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. I would definitely trust Melissa and Nick to watch Charlie again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring pet sitters!

Schedule
We have eight rescue cat family members and two foster kitties. They are indoor-only + enclosed catio cats. We have given them our adult son's bedroom so they have a playroom. They are all fed wet food twice a day and have access to dry food (and of course water) whenever they want. Water... and ice cubes when they hear us in the kitchen. Water... and tap water, when they hear the bathroom water faucet. Nope, not spoiled in the least! Treats are at 10:30 p.m. and yes, they CAN tell time! Play time is whenever anyone thinks it's play time. Clean-up is of course whenever it’s needed. Right now everyone is pretty healthy but with an age range of 13 years down to 18 months, We give medications and take them to the vet when they need to or at least once a year. We have lost two 17 year olds and a 16 year old recently, as they crossed the Rainbow Bridge. They are always in our hearts and we do as much as we can for them for as long as we can. Then another cat finds its way to our home it seems. We love our kids and we love our furry kids too!
