Safety, trust & environment

I’m primarily offering housesitting and drop in visits as I have 2 feline friends, Chloe and Noir, at home that are wary of “strangers”. I will spend as much time at your home with your furry child as you’d like, even staying the night if you’d prefer. The mornings and afternoons are dedicated to the doggos, specifically going on walks or getting some exercise! I am a reliable and trustworthy character that is honored to have this opportunity to snuggle and play with your hairy loved ones.

Information Nicholas L. would like to know about your pet

I like to know a dogs typical energy level and energy demand. Do they like to snuggle? What can they or can they not eat? Most important, are there any medications or allergies I should know about?

A typical day

I have a surplus of fresh tennis balls waiting to be thrown, fetched, and lost in the woods. We’ll go on walks and take our time to sniff every interesting corner of the neighborhood.

Pet care experience

Since I was 16, I have been the go to pet/home sitter for the church I grew up in. Word spread quickly of my reliability and soon, it became a full “part-time” gig. I’ve cared for birds, cats, dogs of ALL sizes, reptiles, fish, mice and lots of other gerbil sized fluff balls. Along with classic domesticated animals, I’m also familiar with caring for a handful of farm animals such as; chickens, goats, and horses.

Nicholas is awesome. I have a terribly needy dog. Nicholas had to accommodate her anxiety every hour and did so well that she had no accidents or problems at all. Good guy, very patient. I can only imagine that he’d love to have a less stressful dog.

Nick was fantastic! We felt confident that our pets were well cared for and loved on while we were gone, and will definitely be booking Nick again for future stays. He left our house in great condition, and in fact, left it better than we had left it. Nick also offers handyman services, so we were delightfully surprised to come home to find that Nick had repaired a back gate we had been meaning to fix. 11/10 would recommend Nick.

Indeed I do heartily recommend Nicholas to Rover. He looked after our pets and our home recently and we would hire him again in a flash! Robertjohn Gillespie.

Nick has taken care of our beloved cat several times, for up to 4 weeks at a time. That requires staying in our house and letting Buster, our cat, in and out as required (by Buster). It also includes making sure our picky cat gets enough to eat. My husband and I totally trust Nick to stay in our house and do whatever is necessary to take care of it also. Nick is totally trustworthy and responsible. In addition, he is a good communicator. At the risk of losing him ourselves, we highly recommend Nick! ps--We know Nick's family--they are all very responsible people.
