Dedicated, playful, and kind
I've own dogs and cats for most of my life. I grew up with a Golden Retriever who as the family dog lived for around 15 years named Zeek. I also took care of a rescue pointer my Mother saved named Sasha. She would often bring home new animals that I helped take care of while balancing work and school. Furthermore, when she got chickens I learned how to intimately take care of the birds including a few mean roosters. While I don't suspect I'd be taking care of many more chickens, I'm happy to look after any pet, exotic or otherwise.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Depending on how much the pet enjoys human interaction is generally how I like to hang around. I've had cats that don't care for human interaction that simply need to be fed on a schedule. I have had dogs that love the company and I will stay with them for hours or even overnight. If preferred, I do like to stay in constant communication with the hosts. I take pictures of before and after I leave to ensure that if I do need to head out, everything is how it is supposed to be. I am happy to text as much as desired about how a pet is doing to help ease any anxiety.

Schedule
I work full time as a para educator at an elementary school. These hours generally look like 8am-4pm. Outside of work, I'm looking to get back into higher education but that's not likely for a couple months at least. Once I'm done with work, I can be anywhere else as needed.
