If I could leave NEGATIVE stars for this “pet sitter” I would!! Not only did he NOT visit our home to care for our fur babies at the times agreed upon he communicated to us yesterday later afternoon/early evening that the weather was too dangerous for him to go take care of our dogs & said he would go in the morning, meaning our dogs would be in their kennels for well over 24-hours without food, water or bathroom breaks & the weather wasn’t bad!! We had to contact Rover Emergency Response Team for assistance, start contacting friends, family & coworkers to see who could travel to care for our dogs all bc of this fool!!! We were hours away on vacation in the mountains with limited service not knowing if our dogs were ok. Not only that we check our security cameras and he wore gloves, masks, made sure he tried to avoid any camera he saw as if he was trying to hide himself or his identity from being seen, sat in our house with a flashlight on taking weird videos etc. I would never use him again & highly recommend that others avoid him as well! Not sure if he had someone else providing services under his name & that’s the reason for the odd behavior & clothing or what BUT we couldn’t even finish our trip bc he got paid to provide a service & barely did that!! Should’ve had 8 visits to care for the fur babies 8 after 4 he created this story that the weather wasn’t safe for him to travel. It’s a holiday weekend & most likely he was enjoying Memorial Day Weekend, drinking & took some rain drizzles & created a story of it being unsafe as an excuse to keep our dogs locked up & uncared for. My husbands coworker had to drive well over an hour to go care for our babies & check our house. Rover should ban him from providing services for putting pets at risk!!! To top it off Rover said bc he’s an “independent contractor” it’s up to him how much of a refund we would get for unused services provided & this fool gave us $35 refund 🤦🏽‍♀️ Ruined our trip, put our pets at risk, compromised our home & god knows how many others he’s done this to. We loved Rover before this but idk if we’ll ever use them again after this. Do your research before booking, unfortunately our other sitters weren’t available for us to rebook had they been everything would’ve went much differently!! Nicholas & Juwon or whatever your names really are, GREAT JOB AT SUCKING!!!

He seems like a nice guy during meet&greet but a good dog sitter? Not sure. Not only was communication awful, he left me panicking and having emotional distress. He doesn't update me about my dog, he doesn’t respond to my msgs until hours(and only with a word response), he wouldn’t even give me his direct contact. I know my dog being in new environment and wouldn’t eat if I am not there, so yes I was really worried! When I complained about his lack of communication, he said he was busy(mind you, not with dogs but his other job). Fast forward to pick up date, he’s agreed to drop my dog off, this guy kept me waiting… We agreed drop off for 2pm, but he never showed up! 3pm..4pm..5pm…I had to mag him again for update, as usual no response until later then telling me he cannot come(just a word)6pm..7pm..then I had to drive to him immediately I arrived back to town. Only to msg me he will not be available to give my dog to me but someone else will bcos he’s busy and not at home.I became so update, I asked for a pic of my pet, no reply. Long story short, he made my entire weekend horrible bcos I wasn’t at rest or peace not knowing how my furbaby is faring. Not time conscious, not reliable, not conscious, no remorse whatsoever….not even an apology for his behavior smh
