Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced yard, and two crates available. I prefer to understand the animal and client’s normal routine and proactively plan a meet and greet so the animal becomes familiar with me before further interactions.

Our Zuri loves her uncle Nick! He is calm and caring and honors our structured training asks. He allows her to let loose a bit and have fun, but also makes sure she doesn’t break rules, like jumping while greeting humans. Nick is very trustworthy and cares about our dog like she is his own.

Nick was great with both of our dogs. Pepper is getting old and does not have much interesting in playing or long walks. Nick was patient with her and provided the right amount of exercise and patience she needs. On the other hand, Stevie Licks is a 3 year old Australian cattle dog with more energy than she knows what to do with. Nick was cautious and professional when he first met her, and Stevie warmed up to him quickly. Nick was perfect when taking her on walks and providing food / water during the week he spent with her. I look forward to using Nick for our pet needs the next time we are out of town!

Highly recommend Nick’s services for all types of pets! Nick has taken care of my dog Yasha on numerous occasions. My dog Yasha is a 90lb Swiss Mountain Dog and needs two walks a day, and he was a rescue that I got (I think he didn’t have a great owner before and maybe was neglected or abused). Nick asked to meet with Yasha and I before the first time I needed Nick to walk my dog. He did a great job letting Yasha lead the way in terms of initial interactions, and he is one of the few men who didn’t make Yasha anxious. Yasha is cautious and can sometimes be reactive to men (I’m a solo woman, so I assume it’s some protective instinct). Nick has gone into my house without me to walk Yasha many times and I’ve been very pleased with his services; he has respected my requests in regards to leaving dog supplies in certain places, and treat restrictions with Yasha. In addition, he watched Yasha over a weekend when I had to travel for work, and did a fantastic job of keeping my place exactly in the condition I left it. While I was gone, he sent pictures and made me feel less nervous about leaving Yasha alone with someone new.

Let me know if there are any special needs. Usual routine, or what would be normal daily behavior. The more I can keep normal the less stress for the pet.
